“This is the first Aldi store in BC. Great prices on most everything thing in the store. Good frozen seafood selection. Good range of dairy products and condiments. Great but limited selection of fresh beef and chicken very good quality. They seem to have some rather random items but always at a low price.”

“This place is amazing, I don’t know what this other lady is talking about. The two ladies behind the counter are very sweet and generous and they care about their community. The story behind that situation is the fact that the mother and father were physically abusing their child and the child was coming up to the store telling the both of them that he was being hurt and he was not being taken care of. Parents both showed aggressive behavior and the girls immediately did not feel safe. The parents are using false accusations because they are upset that the cops were on the two girls’ side and handed the child to them because they know the parents are abusive. This is typical behavior of narcissistic and toxic parents. Instead of noticing that these girls were very sweet to their child, they were aggressive, untruthful, and toxic. The girls even said that they have physical evidence that they were abusing their child. So please know that this place is amazing and the two girls behind the counter care about their customers and will always make sure that they do everything that they can to make this place as peaceful and comforting as possible. Congrats to the two girls behind the counter for standing your ground and protecting that boy when his own parents were not. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to do a little convenience shopping.love you girls so much!?”

“I went to shop tonight at 11:19pm this night. Both Team Members Andrew and Jamal were amazing. They both went up and beyond what was normal for their job. The employees are so wonderful that they are like the pairing of a perfect wine with dinner because paired with the superb cleanliness, well-kept maintenance, and the great variety of quality goods in the store I think that the Meijer on Beckley deserves Michelin stars, I believe it's worth a special journey to go to shop there.”

“Love our local Dollar General. Most of the time if we run out of something, we can just run up to our Dollar General and get what we needed without paying convenience store prices. It is a very convenient and time saving way to get a few items you might need. Being handicapped, usually my husband runs in and gets whatever we need. He likes our Dollar General because the store is clean and the workers are friendly and helpful. Unlike the big grocery stores, he can get in and out quickly!”

“One of the floor walkers follows me throughout the store almost everytime I shop there. His job is supposed to be discreet and not obvious to people but he don't do that very well. I came in yesterday to get a few groceries, got them and paid for them and while I was walking out the door my fiance called and said we needed pull ups so I went back in and from the doors he followed me, once I got to the diaper aisle he was in the shoe aisle and when I turned around to see my options he jumped back into an aisle and started peeking over the shelf like a child watching my every move. Not discreet and made me feel very uncomfortable. Then proceeded to follow me to check out, I went to a lane and he went to self check out and still continued to watch me. Happened between 4:45-5:15pm 1/13/23 between shoe & diaper aisle. Do better and stop making your loyal customers who come in weekly If not almost daily feel uncomfortable.”

“Columbia Ave & the Urbandale location's are cool. Straight forward and just shop within what's on sale. The Penfield location is hit or miss. If they like you, your fine, if they don't like you, they'll drum up something to harass you about everytime you go there. I'm saying, they're too personal and not just business oriented, to the point that it dictates your whole opinion of the place. The other two locations are cool and ran as a business should be, the Penfield location is ran based on personal opinions more than anything. I get along at all 3 locations, but it's far more of a considerable and constant effort out at Penfield.”
