“I was there for work. At the time I was working for Home City Ice doing maintenance on the cooler boxes that hold the bags of ice for sale. The owners were very nice and the store was great. It has a little bit of everything.”
“This is the first Aldi store in BC. Great prices on most everything thing in the store. Good frozen seafood selection. Good range of dairy products and condiments. Great but limited selection of fresh beef and chicken very good quality. They seem to have some rather random items but always at a low price.”
“I love Penny Pinchers! You can find good deals there! I go because I get my chocolate cheap there! My husband loves their beef jerky section. You never know what they will have there. They buy close outs. They may only have one of some items. You should go! You will like it!”

30 E Columbia Ave Suite B, Battle Creek“Food looks fresh in few times I have been there. Can get cut meats or cheese from deli.Over Thanksgiving holiday that was only place I could find Sweet Potatoe Pie.Thank you Gordon Foods!”
“Prices are unreasonably high and shelves aren't always restocked still, but the store is clean, the employees are all helpful and friendly, and it's NOT Wal-Mart.Absolutely hate all of the self checkout. If there was a comparable alternative locally without self checkout, I would shop there exclusively. I also hate having to clip coupons in the app and apply points for rewards, only to have them not apply when checking out and without an actual human checking me out, it's too much a pain in the a$$ to rectify. Or maybe that's the point?Just give us fair pricing instead. And more than one checkout lane with a human working it.”
“If you don't have a save a lot near you then you are being robbed. They are not as expensive as any of the big chain stores even though it's a big name in savings. Stock my pantry every month here.”
“I hit a deer down the road and stopped at mikes corner store to wait and look at the damage. Mike came out helped me, offered me to come in where it was warm and offered my daughter and I snacks. Mike is nothing less than amazing. I can’t thank him and the woman there enough. ?”
“Thanks to the amazing Cashier who tried to help me Jumpstart my car ? it was actually the alternator that died so the battery wasn't the problem. I was able to get her fixed up and running again. I didn't get this kind person's name but he drove a white jeep I believe. Thank you sir!”
“Went in shopping today after work there was a nice young lady working in the deli that was friendly. While she was getting my stuff I told her I'm surprised there's fresh food made usually this time of day there's never anything up here. She said that's not going to happen anymore. I didn't catch her name but she deserves a shout out for sure.”
“This place is amazing, I don’t know what this other lady is talking about. The two ladies behind the counter are very sweet and generous and they care about their community. The story behind that situation is the fact that the mother and father were physically abusing their child and the child was coming up to the store telling the both of them that he was being hurt and he was not being taken care of. Parents both showed aggressive behavior and the girls immediately did not feel safe. The parents are using false accusations because they are upset that the cops were on the two girls’ side and handed the child to them because they know the parents are abusive. This is typical behavior of narcissistic and toxic parents. Instead of noticing that these girls were very sweet to their child, they were aggressive, untruthful, and toxic. The girls even said that they have physical evidence that they were abusing their child. So please know that this place is amazing and the two girls behind the counter care about their customers and will always make sure that they do everything that they can to make this place as peaceful and comforting as possible. Congrats to the two girls behind the counter for standing your ground and protecting that boy when his own parents were not. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to do a little convenience shopping.love you girls so much!?”
“Stop. If you're looking for really good Mexican cuisine, feels like you found it at Nina's. I sat here thinking of reasons it shouldn't be a 5 star, but we have never had any bad experience. Whether dining in with a family of 5, or ordering take out. Always great food, good service, and just no complaints from us.”

“The new one out across from the local Walmart is cool, but by now most are far more familiar with the layout of the Columbia Ave location and the new one is wildly different. Still great, but your first few visits will undoubtedly be getting familiar with that locations layout.”

6405 B Dr N, Battle Creek“I love this Meijer! Their pretty good at keeping stock out except for the beginning of the month and the end. All in all fair prices, signs clearly marked and placed. Almost always a line but worth the stop for pretty much for anything you need or want.”
“Employees were all very nice and helpful in finding the supplies i needed. The store inside and out was clean and organized and looking great. When i walked up to the counter for checkout i didn't have to wait very long to be checked out. Overall i will go back to this store and let my family and friends about this store so they can have the same experience as i did.”
“Edit 9/4/2024: I was there earlier and normally I have a good experience there and ik people have off days but I’ve noticed quiet a bit the girl in the deli with the different color hair every other week, (Tara) I believe is her name, she is very loud and very rude to her C.O. workers. There has been many times I’ve been in there that this girl is cussing loudly to where I could hear her as I was walking in the door. Then walking by the deli she continued to talk like that to her co workers knowing customers where there waiting to be helped.
went there to turn in bottles and the machine wasn’t taking a lot of what ik they except. So the young lady at customer service with the purple hair, went above and beyond to make things great for me. I’m disabled and going into bigger stores r impossible so the fact she helped me the way she did I was still able to get the food I needed. I’m so very thankful she was there cuz I was told no one could help me by two other workers. I would be going without food today if it weren’t for that nice young lady”

“I walked in expecting to have to make an appointment but was able to get my covid booster immediately. The pharmacy tech was extremely efficient even while multitasking. The pharmacist gave me my injection very proficiently and I had no pain at all. Best covid experience to date.”
“The store is like a Walmart in a smaller building. Friendly staff always. I am not upset by what a paid when I check out, unlike the big chain stores. Only thing I wish was different is a bagging option, reuse boxes.”
“I want to recognize Jen at the Wattle Park location! Even though she wasn't the only employee working and the line was long, she was patient with everyone. I felt bad asking her to switch out my propane tank because she was so busy, but she did it without hesitation and with a smile on her face. She was so kind even under pressure, which I'm sure she felt a lot at the time. People like her make customers want to come back just to experience great customer service. I hope she is recognized by more than just me.”
“Nice store. I needed to find an item and we weren't sure what it was. The cashier was nice enough to Google the item so I can see it. They didn't have that particular model in stock but had a similar one. She was very helpful.”
“My friend and I always have to go to the dollor general on w. Columbia ave. There's a Cashier there named Josh, he is so friendly, polite and cares about his Customers. We so appreciate him. He's a KEEPER. Give him a gift card or something to show that you appreciate his work ethics. Thank you.”
“Just bought a house in the neighborhood and live the area and the store. It’s your usual neighborhood liquor store with a variety of colorful characters. Not dangerous, but mind ya manners.”
“The manager/assistant manager whose name is Rodger makes this particular Dollar General the best, not just to me but to every person who enters this store. He is polite, saying hello to anyone who looks his way, helpful - he stops what he's doing at thr time & literally walks over to help you with whatever it may be.”
“Love this store. Seen it from the highway, normally we go to the store in Lansing, but this was new to us the layout was alittle better they had more room alot of different thing to buy. Fresh veggies, homemade can goods,”
