To the Dollar General on Roosevelt and Washington. Blasting country music as loud as you can on a Sunday is not only disrespectful and annoying to people in the community its insensitive. How about a more relaxing atmosphere in a location that has its share of diversity. How about a little jazz? Maybe you and your manager don't know any other genre. I understand this is not a big metro area but good grief. The least you can do is turn it down a bit. Ill make sure I don't come back but I will let others know.

Manager or cashier is consistently on the phone when customers are in the store or trying to check out. It always sounds like a personal call, and she always acts annoyed, like the customer is interuppting her when trying to check out or get more items. Super rude service.

It is now 130 in the afternoon and I have been calling since 9 AM trying to see if they have rental carpet cleaner and no one has answered and I called repeatedly.

This store is a mess! short staff, can't find everything I need, sometimes the store is closed! The Urbandale location is much better, I just skip this one, and go there. I don't know if they don't care about this store because of the neighborhood that it's in, or what? All your stores need to be of the same quality, it makes the company look really bad! The company is opening so many stores, but cant seem to keep them all staffed, its real bad at this location! Its a huge inconvenience for me to go outside of the neighborhood to go to a better store that is actually open!

I was browsing all the photos they have posted of the inside of the store on the corner of North ave and goodale, funny, the photos I took look nothing like what they are showing. This store is a total disaster. The isles were a complete mess, stock carts all over store and blocking isles, product on shelves were all over, not one shelf was faced off with product. The manager of this store should be ashamed or looking for a new job. What a disgrace. I wont be visiting that store again. Im so glad they have these DG store so close together. Maybe they should combine their workers instead of building more stores ? I only gave 1 star just so I could leave a review, they deserve 0 stars.

I've lived here for over a year and every experience I've had there has been terrible. The employees don't care if you are waiting to check or or not, they will take as long as they want. They are willingly selling food that expired by over a month, nothing a stocked but they have it on carts all over the store. This sore is messy, product everywhere, things just thrown on shelves, and half the shelves are completely empty.

I liked the new store when it opened, but it hasn’t taken long for it to turn into a dump. If I owned that store and saw it like that I would be mad as hell.
