So the only problem that I have with them is I have been with them sense about 1995, I am divorced now and when I told them to take my ex off my account she the receptionist had me start a new one so it looks like I've only been there a year. Yes I know it's petty. They've always done right by me other than that may be a little faster in the waiting room but I haven't seen one doctor there that I wouldn't recommend.

I'm truly heart broken over what this place has done to me and my family. I called for 2 days straight at 8:00am for an emergency appointment. Both days I was told that they had open appointments and could see my sick bunny and that the doctor would call me back. Both times they called they said there was no availability and to call back right at 8:00am. Then I expressed my concerns for my bunny's health at this point. And I was told by the lady on the phone that if you are so concerned take your bunny to the hospital. I would have done that but you keep telling me you could seen him. They all were very rude to me. And now my bunny is at Milwood in Portage because the staff there actually cares about my concerns.

If you set up an appointment for your diabetic dog, you can walk threw the door and have a Doberman charging at you then when you check in the office lady can tell you today doesn’t make a difference because of her timing for insulin! (Maybe have your receptionist check this before someone takes off from work to bring there dog on) oh and the best part is you get charged an extra 60$ for an “office call” since “something was wrong with her urine” (nothing was wrong with her urine) wonderful place!! I wish I could take ALL my loved ones here!!!!

I have been taking my dog here for 7 years. I have had no problems and they are substantially cheaper than most vet offices. I've had to wait 20 minutes for my appointment before but this isn't an issue for me. I understand that they receive calls in the morning for emergency visits. I'm willing to wait a bit for my appointment if it means emergency visits are available to me and my fur baby when we need it...and they have been! Happy to say I have called a few times in the morning needing to get my dog in ASAP. I have always been accommodated if I call right when they open. I've been happy with the care I have received here and recommend this practice to family and friends.

1 star is to much! Would not see my dog the day i called them when they had a opening even. My vet was in surgery all day and needed my collie seen but was told no. If you value your vet office caring about your pets dont go here.

Took our dog in for a checkup. He was lethargic and not eating. They said it was allergies and gave meds. It didn't help. Long story short I learned that they had referenced our other dog's chart (who had passed away a few years ago) and assumed it was allergies because that's what our other dog had. They didn't do proper tests. A different vet ran bloodwork tests and we learned our dog had too high of a level of vitamin D (which can be deadly) and it was from his science diet canned food. In researching, we found science diet did indeed have batches of food with too much vit D and dogs had died. So sad. Thank god the new vet found it or we surely would've lost our precious dog and he would've suffered. As soon as we took him off the food he began recovering.

Yesterday we had to make to take a kitten we have to Dickman Road Vet. Going in we thought we had an idea of what he had and knew the outcome wasn’t probably good. Dr. Oliver was our vet and did an amazing job. He did conclude the kitten was sickly and wasn’t going to have a good life if he even survived. We had grown attached to the little guy and felt horrible for having to make the decision and we were visibly upset within having to do so. Dr Oliver was amazing for us, he was extremely patient with us, and you could tell he sincerely felt bad for us and the kitten. I thought this was great and hope we always are able to deal with Dr. Oliver for all our animals. Thank you Dickman Road Vet and Dr. Oliver for helping us and making our kitten not suffer any longer.

We've been going to this vet for about 3 years now and altogether they've seen 5 of our 6 animals. We've had some great and some not so great experiences but that's going to be the case pretty much anywhere you go. Our most recent experience was with Dr. Pete, who I believe saw our puppy two years ago. He was amazing and super helpful with our senior kitty. He explained so much that I didn't understand and was very reassuring when he suggested my cat have dental surgery. I tr

If you love your pets DO NOT GO HERE. So many people have shared their HORRIBLE stores about the people here. They don't care about your pet.

Less than impressed. My husband and I brought our 1 year old german shepherd rescue here since we got her over 2 years ago. For starters, there are several vets and she rarely saw the same one twice. None of which seemed happy to work with her. If you only need shots and routine care, this place might work for you but if you need anything more, good luck. Our shepherd has severe allergy issues and it seemed like all they did was shove meds at her with no interest in trying to figure out what real problem is. Worst of all, last time she needed to be seen promptly I was told "prescheduled" appts were 3 weeks out but appts were set aside every day for "sick and injured pets" (which she was) to be able to get priority appts to get in same day and I was told to call first thing in the morning to get a same day appt if she needed to be seen bad enough which my schedule doesn't allow for. We always felt like it was a burden to be seen and our dog or her health weren't a priority. Their office staff are a joke. Have to wait forever for someone to answer the phone and then get put on hold repeatedly. They are a high volume vet and their service reflects that! We finally had enough and are now taking our dog elsewhere.

Riley visited here today with his yearly (at least) beagle ear infection -- the Dickman Rd staff took care of him with the usual care and compassion that we've always received here. Sure, it's very different these days as the waiting room is in our cars and the parking lot, but I felt that the clinic and staff made the COVID-safe process easy to understand, and clear communication was provided before, during, and after Riley made his visit. They took care of his ear infection, and addressed other needs such as heartwork test and rabies update -- and also answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend Dickman Rd, they're handling this COVID world with the same level of professionalism as before!
