Stranded in the bitter cold on foot and I found avis was Nearby. Tyler was extremely helpful and concerned about me being on foot and took my calls right away and hot me to his office right away. He made sure I was OK and got my paperwork done and in a warm safe car. This won't go unforgotten. I will be back!!

Where do I start. If there was 0 stars, that's what they would get! You call the local office only to be directed to the call center. Then the person on the phone is extremely difficult to understand. And before you can get any car prices you have to go though asking 10 questions. And to top it off they open and 9am close at 1pm today. So no matter what, you have to pay for a 2 day rental. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

They do not answer their phone! But go to their rental property, and there they are sitting at the desk! Very poor service!

Before you arrive at the Avis Car Rental in downtown Battle Creek you should CALL AHEAD!Make sure you communicate EVERY single question and concern. They have so many little exceptions, caveats and rules that it's easy to get blindsided by their business. They don't have the same rules as other Avis, not even for corporate. I was told my "pre-check in approval and confirmation" wasn't any good there. Clearly these franchises are running their shops regardless of any consistency. I ended up renting from Enterprise instead.

The Avis facility staff and auto made up for the fact that there is a lot of construction going on in BC where the cars are located compared to where the office is. I was glad that they are making accommodations for us even through all of the mess. Staff were friendly and helpful. The car was clean and reliable. And the ability to book it online was exceptional. I would tell people to give them a chance and this place will give you what you need.

I wish every rental employee was like Amber. I've rented twice from this location when in town visiting, and it's always a great experience. And each vehicle I've received has always been top notch.

Amber was AWESOME! I have periodically had to rent cars in the past and it's never been memorable. Amber stood out as being personable, professional, and she found me the best deal out there while pricing out other options.I was in a stressful situation and a little frazzled, she was a calming presence and a friendly face making the best out of a sticky situation! THANK YOU! A shout out to the guys that were in the garage and handed over the keys too! Everyone was super nice and DESERVING OF A BIG RAISE!

Got a car with a bad tire I will come back and complete the review after speaking to management. They offered me a two day free rental. The manger never reached out!! So I got a two day free rental and was charged 100 dollars for fuel when I returned it with 3/4 full. I was rushing that morning and forgot to top it off.considering it was a comped car for a bad experience I would have thought maybe they would have just waived it. I would even say 30/40 buck was fair but a 100. You got to be kidding me!!!! I didn’t even use that much gas in the three days I had it smh. Bad experience just made worse

The best Avis experience from anywhere I’ve rented. Amber is very knowledgeable and always seeking to provide customers the best value. She’s always smiling ready to help and the staff is all great. Clean cars, what you see is what you get.An example of professionalism and customer orientation to the entire Avis network and other rental companies.

My reservation was for 9 am. I get there and the doors were locked. I waited for over a half an hour (I wasn't the only cutsomer waiting), and when the employee finally showed up she got extremely rude when asked why we were made to wait over a half an hour. Very very unprofessional and it's more than obvious that the employees do not care about the business they do. Thanks to this late and rude employee I was late to KY event.

Very friendly and helpful customer service that made the whole experience nice and easy. I had mentioned I was interested in a certain car if it was available and they made note of it. Turns out the car was available and they reserved it for me. I was very happy with the car, it was a really nice ride and the navigation worked great. Another great experience with Avis :)
