This place is like a walk back in time. The smells are of a long ago time and reminded me of opening my grandmothers hope chest and smelling time gone by. You can stand and stare at all the unique instruments as if you are in a museum. Mr White walks over from behind his Luthier work bench and offers all his time and insight to help a beginner guitar player with many simple questions. You will not find a punk teenager who wants to impress you with their latest version of a Def Leopard solo but you will shake the hand of a man with deep calluses, dirty hands and decades of experience. We need more culture like this in our world. We need to support people like Mr White or we will wake up one day and find that there are no more craftsmen who can repair a 200 year old violin and make it sound like an ancient lullaby.

We have gone to White Brothers for over twenty years and very much appreciate him. He has rebuilt a 117 year old violin that was a bunch of sticks and beautifully restored. He has fixed and adjusted our instruments for us, such as my grandfather's old uke that I thought was striped and couldn't stay in tune -- until Mr White fixed this precious family instrument. (And for long time fans -- there is a new book! The Travelers Club, International Restaurant and Tuba Museum).

I went to White Bros. to fix my guitar, and the owner ruined my guitar and when I asked for my money back, insisted that he didn’t give refunds, but would continue to work on it to “fix it.” I went to another shop who informed me that they fix a lot of the “work” done at this business. Cannot recommend anyone with an electric guitar to come here.

Really enjoyed learning about the unique instruments while a really kind and experienced luthier fixed my violin. It had been far too long and he restored it like new. Very happy with the services provided!

I accidentally showed up right before they closed, and Mr. White welcomed me in and stayed late helping me for free to try to help me fix the problem with my guitar. Eventually helped me make a plan to repair. I would highly recommend coming here for any repair needs.

They repaired a broken cello where the neck had popped out but also checked the entire instrument making adjustments so it is better than new. They were quick and affordable.

I believe Mr. White is a gift to musicians and their instruments! He is a magician of instrument restoration.

Will Tyler White is an antfa supporting left wing nut joke that loves to see conservatives assulted for their political veiws. How can a person so involed in music think that way!! Don't shop here you will be supporting hate and voilence in America.

White Bros. Music has been my go to luthier since 1978. The guys are the real deal. They know their stuff and they do great repair work.
