Being new to Port Austin, having long hair and having trust issues with hair stylists, it took me awhile to feel comfortable searching for a new salon near my new residence. I have had the same stylist back in Antioch, IL for over 15 years. So after being at a Bad Axe laundromat yesterday, which was a Saturday, I decided to Google local salons. Kastle Salon came up, they were open, had decent reviews and so I called. I was told they had someone free and to come on in. I did. After a short wait, a girl asked if I was Pam Haines. I said yes and she told me she will be doing my hair. I was skeptical because she seemed so young and I asked for a trim being 8 months since my last one. She said she would follow my previous cut. Cool! Good answer and I relaxed. She told me 2.5" would remove the damaged ends and showed me how much that would be and I said 'do it'! She did exactly as I wanted ... her name is MacKenzie. MacKenzie may be new and may look young but she listens and did a perfect job making me happy I made that phone call. I will post the pics...
