Next level service by the gentleman that helped us here. Two days before visiting here, I had just purchased a new watch from the other Shinola Outlet in Grand Rapids but mine had quit working unexpectedly! After some troubleshooting, he offered to replace it completely since he had one in stock.Even though this trip here was completely unplanned, I was so thankful for the care he showed towards the situation. It’s made my first (and second!) Shinola experience great.

I have nothing but good things to say about this Shinola store, its staff, and the brand in general-Stopped by just to look through the watches on show here, and was instantly greeted and helped by the outstanding staff here. The watch selection was also pretty impressive, and the discounts were insane. We got a couple of watches that were 50% off retail price, with one being an additional 25% off, all being a steal in comparison to the prices I saw in Ann Arbor and Detroit.All in all, would highly recommend a visit if you want to pick up a watch that you really can only get in this region.

The staff here is outstanding. Their customer service is unmatched. I’ve bought 3 different watches from here with help from the employees, and each one has been better than the last. I went yesterday May 12 and ended up staying there for an hour talking to the staff! They complimented my jewelry and made me laugh so much. I will definitely be back, even if it’s just to say hi to the workers!

I had a great experience with the Shinola Outlet at Great Lakes Crossing. I had two separate sales associates assist me, Sam helped over the phone and was able to text details on watches they had in stock similar to what I was looking for. After knowing what they had in stock, I made a trip to the store to make my purchase. They had a wide variety of watches and bands in stock, and the in-store associate was super helpful.

I have admired this brand since the first Detroit store opened. If you’re into watches but don’t want to spend the money on a TAG, Breitling, Patek Philippe or any of the other top brands, Shinola doesn’t disappoint. That does not make them cheap. They range from $500-$2,000 broadly.This outlet store makes them a bit more affordable. And there’s almost always a sale for last year’s models and discontinued stock. You can also buy a limited selection of the current fashions in store, or they can ship to you as well.Right now there is a store wide 30-40% off sale (excluding the “flagship”/current models). Perfect for last minute meaningful gifts. They monogram in store, and sell a wide variety of watch bands, along with a limited selection of handbags, journals, and accessories.What sets them apart from standard outlet offerings? Knowledgeable, well-trained employees, and old-school customer service that you rarely see anymore. They definitely go the extra mile.

This is a true Detroit ICON of a company and has been integral in the resurgence of Detroit. They're known for their watches and watch bands but it was their leather briefcases, backpacks and travel cases that caught my eye. They're made of extremely high quality American made and sourced materials. The series of leather from the runwell backpacks was especially impressive with cognac, yellow, black and elephant leather colors to choose from. The leather is very thick and sturdy with some of the heavier leather hides I've encountered they're on the pricey side though at around $995 and up so this is a purchase you would get for yourself or someone to celebrate a milestone or something special but from what I've seen in store they do look and feel worth it. The only concern is that the bag is already heavy and adding things into it will only add to this so I'd be mindful of that if you have back problems or need to be more mobile. I enjoyed the experience and the staff was friendly and willing to show me and give some background on their products which I was impressed with as this is certainly an investment type of purchase.

If you are looking to buy quality products this is not the place. Purchased an $800 bag and the stitching came loose within months.I was told that it wasn't covered under warranty after it was sent for repairs. After multiple attempts to have this company back their message of quality and luxury products I ended up having to pay for repairs to be made. If you're looking for smoke and mirrors look no farther. Go hang out grab a free coffee at their cool looking store on my dime apparently. Shinola you should be ashamed of yourself!

I needed a new leather watch band, and was able to stop in during lunch break. The sales associate picked out a few for me and I was on my way. It was a really fast and nice experience

I've shopped at this location a number of times over the years and the customer service is always top-notch. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Roland, who was knowledgeable about watches in general and could answer my questions about Shinola's automatic movements. He also was very helpful to my wife, eventually leading to us both getting watches. Roland was great and I highly recommend him!

Black Friday hopping - great deal on my first Shinola watch that I’ve been waiting so eager to save for since I graduated college. I rock it out almost on a daily basis and the compliments and feel of owning a Detroit and American brand product never felt so good

Seriously? Pay $500 for a watch and they will not change the battery for you? The back is impossible to remove yourself without damage. So drive 30 miles or send it out, wait 2 weeks and make the hour long trip to come back for it. EXTREMELY disappointed!!! The sales person did not even apologize for the inconvenience. I will NOT be buying another Shinola with service like this.

Nice store, was very busy and there was not much of a discount that I could see. They had limited stock of the current watch line, that was disappointing as I wanted to look at the carbon monster. It was nice to see the rest of their line though

I've been to this store a few times as well as the other Shinola locations in the area (Troy and Detroit). This store is way nicer than expected given it's an outlet. Their selection is on par with the main stores, and the customer service is great. I've even been able to find models no longer available at the other stores or online here at a discounted rate.
