This place is a hot mess. Corporate should do a check up because the employees are either lazy or rude. And the good workers are working so hard and no one will help. I waited almost 20 mins for a worker to help. 2 walked by and ignored me. It’s dirty and it’s always packed with boxes on the floor. I used to work at tjmaxx so I know how it feels to get the holiday inventory in but to block one end of an aisle completely is not safe or ok. Truly a horrible time there, sorry.

The store is absolutely filthy and disorganized. There are giant mud stains all over the floor and goodness knows what else. Random empty shelving is scattered in the aisles, along with unpacked pallets and plastic garbage. The worst part is it's hot a blazes in there. It's 82 degrees outside right now and actually cooler outside if you can believe it! It used to be a nice store, but I will never step foot in there again. Too bad, because they do have nice sales when they actually have the advertised stock (which they don't).

Had most of what I want, many empty shelves. 1 cashier. She called for backup, never appeared. I spent more time in line than I did shopping.

From my experience and the most recent reviews it looks like you need to re-evaluate your store manager Donell. I’ve never had a bad experience at Jo-ann fabrics until this location and it was 100% due to the store managers incompetence and lack of customer service.

Online I ordered everything that was in stock for a specific fabric. This location is the only one that was carrying that fabric and is over an hour from where I live. I placed the order online for 11 yards which was the max amount in stock. Online also stated anything over 6 yards would get cut. Due to it being the last they had in stock I called to ask if they could not cut the fabric. Every time I’ve been in store to purchase fabric when it is the last of the fabric there is no sense in cutting this. However, I realize an online order may be handled differently and that is exactly why I called the store location to speak with them.
I called to ask them since it is the last of what you have in stock can you please not cut the fabric at all. I would think my request made sense and is pretty clear. The first woman I spoke to then said ok so you want me to cancel your order?
I again repeat myself and give her more detail. And I asked if that made sense and she goes ok hold on one second and transferred me to someone else without even advising she was transferring me. If you don’t know the answer to something she could at least have advised me that she was going to need to connect me to someone else instead of blindly connecting me.
Then I talked to Donnell and again repeated myself and exactly what I was requesting. He goes well you'll get 11 yards. Again all I’m asking is that you not cut the fabric the way your website stated you would. Is that possible? He said he didn’t know and he’d have to look later because he was busy at the moment and then he would call me back and let me know. Again I’m driving an hour to this location for this specific fabric so if this couldn’t be handled this way I wanted to know before the order was processed. I would think requesting that the fabric not be cut would not be this difficult, if I walked into a location standard practice the last of the fabric they wouldn’t have cut it anyway.
A few hours later I get a notification that the order was ready but yet I never received a call from Donnell. I called the store and spoke with the team member who had processed the order sure enough Donnell did not pass along this request to her.
Donell is apparently the store manager at this location although I truly don’t understand how. He clearly couldn’t be bothered to help a customer with a pretty simple request or even follow up the way he advised he would and made it very apparent he didn’t have time to help me previously when he stated “he was busy.”
I find it so unprofessional that your store manager would respond to a customer and state “they are busy.” You’re the store manager if you can’t/wont help connect me with someone who can. Or simply be more professional and advise that you’ll have to take a look and when you promise a follow up, follow through with that.

Ordered one item online, a plugin oil diffuser. I received a text stating when it was ready for pickup. I chose the curbside pickup and followed the instructions. 15 minutes later, no service. I called the phone number on the pickup page, no answer. Terrible customer service for something that can be bought anywhere.*UPDATE*I went in and walked up to what I assumed was the service desk and was rudely addressed to get in line where the other register is located. After the additional wait, my purchase couldn’t be found. After listening to arguing over who has who’s “handheld”, another employee stated my purchase was in her cart and walked away. About 5 minutes later she reemerged with my item. All-in-all, it took 30 minutes to pick up one preordered item.

Great markdowns after Christmas; gift wrap for $1.80! Many shelves are completely empty. The staff members are very friendly.

if i just could give 0 stars !!our appt was at 4:30am we checked in on time and now it's 2pm and we are still on the dock !!!the worst receiver ever !! and we still have another stop after this one with the same company , we may probably stay the night there !

I give this Joann 0 if could everything come in there and ask for help find something I get sant all over and still don’t did it. I can go to any other store around and do not have the problems that I have every time I go in the store you need to shut it down.

The store seemed disheveled. Many empty or almost empty aisles. It's the latter half of January and they still have Christmas clearance going on (80%), but not much selection. It was cool to see a sewing class happening. Staff weren't rude, but weren't friendly either. I ran here during my lunch break at work, but next time I'll try the store close to home.

The staff has always been very friendly and helpful, but this store is very dirty. I was greeted today by trash all over the floor by the door. The floors look like they have not been washed in a very long time, if ever. It is also very messy. There were boxes of stock sitting all over. They really need to clean this store!

Went into the store with my wife and 1 year old son only to be greeted with a stern, “We close in 5 minutes.” along with a glare both by the older woman at the register 5 minutes before 7pm even though hours say differently online. Lost our business for sure.

Says they are open until 9. But sign on door says Dec 11-16 open until 7. Update your hours online!! 20 min drive only for you to be closed!! Looks like someone also had this issue two weeks ago. So not a one time thing.
