I truly appreciate this company for trying to work with my dog Loki. He is difficult to groom. I gave a score of a 4 because sometimes his ears are not clean and nails not trim, (mostly likely it might be due to Loki being difficult). But overall, very satisfied with their service.

I brought my pet here about five times. I have a long-haired cat. The first time I brought her back because she was not cut properly. Emmy roughly grabbed her by the face and hastily trimmed her mane. The second time I brought her there she was cut perfectly with the lion cut. The next time I brought her I instructed her to do it the same as last time. Did I get that? No I did not! I was told that she was matted. The next time I brought her there, my cat was trembling when I picked her up. I was trying to find another place for grooming and it is VERY difficult. The LAST & final time, I add an appointment at 10:00 a.m. I was on time (she wasn't even there I was told that she stepped out for a moment). Jane advised me to pick her up in 45 minutes and just go down the street for some coffee. I showed up promptly at 11:00 a.m. She wasn't even started yet! I can just imagine my poor baby's anxiety level for being in her carrier for that long. An assistant beforehand ask me how I wanted her cut and I told her the lion cut with a few details, mainly shorter around the hiney area. I got the exact opposite.. when I came to pick her up Jane asked if I wish to leave a gratuity, I said "not today".... She also made a comment about how hard and she's been working these past couple of weeks, as if to guilt me to leave a tip!! Her price is also went up $20. I did some research and came up with two very appropriate places that groom cats. One of them is called shag and swag in Shelby township. The other is called K-9 cuts. If you care the way your baby is treated please run from this place!

Such a great experience! The staff was so friendly and kind and Hank's haircut was wonderful. I have had two bad experiences at other groomers, and wish I would have found Emmy's sooner! Hank is a miniature poodle (we think)...and the price is very fair as well. The groomer who did Hank's (I think her name was Chelsea?) cut even wrote down what she did for me to take to my next groomer since I am moving out of state.

My black & brown people. Trust me when I say, don’t come here to get your dog groomed. The employees are two faced. They’re the type of white people that’s nice to your face and talk behind your back once you leave. I’ve always noticed a few cuts on my dog’s skin as well. How are you a groomer & don’t know how to cut properly?
Not only that there is the small short grumpy lady at the front desk that shouldn’t work there. If you’re gonna be grumpy all day, get a new job or retire.
Sarah, you need to watch your attitude as well.
AND STOP RACIAL PROFILING!!!

Emmy was great with my senior dog she sat on the floor with us to trim his nails and offered to sit outside on the grass to make him more comfortable. Nails were only $10 and she gave him an adorable scarf ?

We've been taking our dogs here for years , staff is always friendly and does a great job. Our pitbull is very challenging and terrified to have her nails done but they make it go as smooth as possible.

Emmy’s has been doing our French mastiff’s nails for the last couple of years. They are so patient with her and willing to do anything to make her more comfortable. Sarah has always been so kind. We love Emmy’s!
