My family has been seeing Dr. Haber since the early 90s, and I've been a patient of Dr. Haber's for a decade and a half. My mother, who also sees Dr. Haber, had a horrible fall late last year and had to be rushed to the hospital. Due to the specific circumstances of her fall, the police became involved and ruled out the possibility of foul play. The police concluded that this was a tragic accident with no one else involved. Dr. Haber, however, insists that this was not a fall and that my mother was assaulted. This is impossible, as our neighborhood has almost 40 cameras, with a camera capturing footage at the front of my mother's house AND at the back. Dr. Haber insists that a "left-handed person" assaulted my mother and that "he's seen this type of injury multiple times" (per my mother.) My next visit to Dr. Haber pertained to a refill of my ADHD medication. During the visit, I was asked by Dr. Haber if I was the one who assaulted my mother... No, I did not assault my own mother. I was 250 miles north, at my apartment, when her fall happened AND I'm right-handed. Attempts to reach out to this office have been unsuccessful. Attempts to switch physicians have been unsuccessful, as this office refuses to fax over my medical records for continuation of care. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from a physician who sees my entire family. If you're shopping for a PCP, find one that's younger who doesn't treat his patients like shit.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my last experience I encountered at Dr. Haber's medical practice. My family have been longstanding patrons of this establishment since the early 90s, and I, personally, have been under the care of Dr. Haber for 15 years. The reason for my discontent stems from an unfortunate incident involving my mother, who recently experienced a severe accident in her residence. After collaboration with the Auburn Hills Police Department, it was determined that the incident was a result of a severe fall.Regrettably, Dr. Haber holds a differing opinion, asserting that the incident was an assault and/or attempted murder, despite lacking access to specific details or police evidence. Moreover, during my last appointment, he made unwarranted accusations against me, insinuating my involvement in the incident. It is crucial to note that at the time of the occurrence, I did not reside in the area.Dr. Haber's baseless accusations, coupled with his apparent disregard for established facts and the implied distrust are deeply concerning. As a healthcare worker myself, I am well aware that such behavior is considered highly unprofessional, offensive, and detrimental to the physician-patient relationship, compromising the quality of care.Given the gravity of the situation, I have made the decision not to return to Dr. Haber's office. This decision extends beyond monetary considerations, as I find it untenable to seek care in an environment that undermines the fundamental principles of trust and professionalism. Unfortunately, this has led to a disruption in my medical care, as Dr. Haber's office has been uncooperative in transferring my medical records to a new primary care provider. It is disheartening to receive such treatment after being a longstanding patient at his practice, where his nurses and medical assistants have witnessed my family's journey over the years. The emotional toll of almost losing a loved one is exacerbated when someone entrusted with our care casts unfounded accusations.

...didn't seem interested in new patents. I guess they were busy with the dog in their window. Is that sanitary for a doctor's office?
