ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The most delicious Indian food around; go in for a lunchbox carryout for the most satisfying meal. The food is so fresh and seasoned perfectly. I don't even know the names of the food served and don't care, it is that good! I recommend having the hot sauce to go along with it although you can choose mild or medium. I purchase tubs of the homemade hot sauce and put it on all my food at home. The rice is cooked perfect with a bit of caraway seed and the naan bread, that is always served with the lunchbox, is so warm and fresh.

Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Great price and super friendly service the cashier walks you through the lunch items which I found really helpful. Would recommend anytime you’re in the area.

Went in and was trying to order from them as we love Indian food. Sadly even asking about their now hiring sign I was laughed at, then even she was done laughing, I was told no silly you aren't Indian and therefore cannot be hired.. well I actually ran a kitchen in Livonia for 6 years for a sweet Couple. After telling her I have years of experience cooking at an Indian food restaurant she once again reiterated that I'm not Indian and that'd what they are looking for. I thought we didn't discriminate on age, sex, RACE???

Best food for carry out and catering. The store is very very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I highly recommend the store for its food and also Indian groceries. I loved their Chana Batura special on the cold winter day! Very yummy !!!!

This is the best Indian grocery store! They have all the fresh ingredients to make your own dishes or tons of frozen entrees to choose from. Plan on stopping by for the lunch box for a delicious, hot home cooked mid-day meal. Very friendly owners that are extremely helpful for anyone with questions.

Great place. The owner and all staff is so kind. You will get all Indian grocery here good and fresh quality. Also they have fresh lunch box every day evening samosas and sweets you should try the lunch box it's so tasty and delicious.

Great service, low prices, and delicious fresh food. The owners are very sweet and even throw in treats for $50 or above purchases. My husband and I love shopping for our Indian groceries here.

Beware - stale and some expired food.Very disappointed, like some of the other reviewers said they do give you leftovers. Please check expiration dates on their products.A couple of weeks ago I got three Samosas there and they looked a bit weird to begin with as they were very dark and split. We were hungry and risked it. It was by far the worst samosa I ever had, it tasted so stale and bad (it was probably several days old). It also made me wretch and spit it out, needless to say I threw the rest.Never buy samosas from them and be careful with anything there. If it does not look right do not buy it.I never had to write a review for a grocery store let alone samosas before but this forced me to, so I hope this does not happen to you.Never again will I be going there.To answer the question below from store, if a place sells food that is so bad why would I take the time to go back there? Sorry, but no thank you!

Love to shop at Ajanta Grocers. Food over there is yum. Delicious and fresh samosas. My kids favorite place for samosas. The shop is always clean anytime of the day. If any particular item is not available they will make it a point to get it for me.
