Where do I begin....from the time I ran out of fuel to heat my home, from faulty equipment that read 70% full, to the support line personnel doing nothing they said they would to correct the problem, to not being transferred to a supervisor who could expedite the issue, instead transferring to the survey line or simply hanging up, to being told there is a 7-10 window for tank refill/repair, and more furiating being told I could pay $300 for a 24-48hr emergency service, I guess someone who has no heat or hot water that is caused by your faulty equipment is not an emergency!!! Then the local driver comes to fill the tank and seeing 70% full calls me directly (which I was told would happen prior to filling) after the tank wouldn't accept the 250 gallons I ordered (because I was told I have a 500gal tank, when I was pretty sure it was 250) and the driver tells me he was never told about the faulty equipment or that he was to call me prior to delivery because I was out of town and needed to have a friend there as was required by AmeriGas!!So bottom line is, your entire company service network is not worth a dime!!! Until I was actually able to speak to the local personnel, Mark and Damien I believe is their names, who by the way both deserve to be commended by your management, was I provided with any satisfaction by your company! I would also suggest some sort of discount, rebate, or refund to me the customer, for the frustration, incompetence of your personnel, and the countless hours I spent calling and re-calling to finally get any results. I'm sorry but, your company should be ashamed of how this was handled!!

When the tech finally came out to unlock our tank everything was fine. Everything leading up to that was horrible. You guys filled and then locked our tank, didn't call to inform us or set up another appointment, I went ahead and called to set one up, took the day off work and then no one showed. After that I called again to set up yet another appointment to have my tank unlocked, no one showed up again. After the next time I called we set up an appointment for the next day at noon, for which at 11:58 I was called and told the tech wouldn't make it out. At that point I had been without hot water or heat for over a month and a half, I had to use plug in space heaters to keep my pipes from freezing, which drastically increased my electric bill, and then you charged me $800 for the tank fill. If there was an option below poor I would choose it. The lack of cared your team showed for me not having heat in the middle of winter in Michigan was disgusting. You should be ashamed.

I summit my request for propane and normally it arrives within a few days after. The pig gets filled if I'm home or not. No hassle and frustration.

Kept upping the tank rental price when we didn't buy enough propane due to also burning wood, the last one said we had to purchase 1500 gallons a year or pay tank rental. After changing to another company that suggested we just go to a smaller tank and would be able to fill it more often taking away the tank rental, they said amerigas should have noticed this and offer this. Very bad customer service.

That doesn't even come close to explaining your $3.15 a gallon compared to $1.97 from your competitors. I can't wait for this tank to be empty.

How in the world is this place still in business, they are trying to charge for unused propane, won’t fix the bill to reflect the actual usage and then turn it over to collectors. I will definitely be getting this out to all forms of media.

We have a cabin near harrisville and don't use alot of propane because we dont go up during the winter and only about 6 times during summer. We pay a rental fee for our tank that Amerigas owns. Our tank is hideous. It has peeling paint. The cabin and tank used to be our grandparents so we inherited the tank and it has always has a little bit of peeling paint. I called to see if we could get a different tank and the customer service rep said we would need to pay a service fee of almost $400. We pay almost $200 each year for the tank. You'd think they would just swap it out for free since the tank probably needs to be checked out anyways and painted. This will be the last year we use amerigas. At the end of this lease we're going elsewhere.
