Trying to charge me almost $300 just to pick up 4 rims i had shipped there with free shipping... The clerk just looks at you all rude like. Worst post office to ever go too. Will be getting a PO box elsewhere! Very rude people

Has asked them to bring packages that are too Big to the door. The mail carrier on occasion will shove the package into the mail box. My mom recieved a package that had a rip in the bottom. The rip might have happened from the sorting machine.. Other than that Its alright

I have the informed delivery service with usps.i've had 4 packages in the last 9 months that they said they delivered but wasn't.the clerks at the post office are not very helpful.was talking with one clerk on phone an pretty much she hung up on me with me still trying to talk.

Tracking says my package arrived so where is it?? Ive had numerous packages show up stepped on recently. I think someone needs to be investigated and fired. Perhaps all of you

I have nothing but praise and great appreciation for the Portage (MI) post office and all the people who work there. The folks behind the counter are always friendly, fast, and efficient. The parking is more than sufficient. The location is great. Even the selection of greeting cards is good. I hope that this location is never closed!

Our concern is not with this office, but it is with a mail carrier out of this office who delivers to our home. It seems as though the mail carrier on route has a issue with closing the mail box door. It snaps closed easily with my index finger alone. About 80% of the time in last 5 months, it has been left open and our mail is soaked, since it has rained generously this spring and fall.

This is my favorite post office in the Kalamazoo area. The staff are very friendly (and always smiling), the line usually goes fast, and if there is an enormous line, as there was today, someone will come out with a portable counter to help people with easy orders (package drop-off, stamps). There are several handicap spots right in front (thank you!) - the shortest walk from the handicap parking to the door of any of our local post offices. I will drive out of my way to go here, and am pleased that we have such a nice, clean, friendly post office.
