I have been going here steadily for a few years now. They are amazing people! We had to send our old girl over the rainbow bridge this week, and this vet was BY FAR the most compassionate vet I have ever been too! I used to bounce from vet to vet to trying to find the best price. Since we have established a relationship I haven't had the need to do that. They have worked with me on many occasions to make sure my pets are taken care of. I always leave feeling like they truly care about my pets and not just my pocketbook. If your trying to find a excellent vet please look into Westarbor.

The absolute best, I moved away and still bring my pupper here! They’re so great about communication, scheduling, and record keeping. Prices are fair and disclosed well. The office space is comforting and well managed so animals don’t interact negatively. And most importantly the techs and vets and everyone here are the absolute kindest and so good with my little guy. Would never go anywhere else.

Our family loves Dr. Christine Juergens! She’s wonderful at explaining everything and really puts peace in our minds and hearts that our little fur babies are being taken care of.

I once left 5 stars but my recent experiences have changed my opinion.Let me first say that the veterinarians and techs are competent and use fear free techniques which is appreciated. My issue is primarily the time is takes during appointments and how some documentation is inaccurate. If it were one appointment, I get it but every appointment I sit waiting for 10-15 minutes (and in today's case, 25 minutes) to see actually see the vet or vet tech. At today's appointment, we arrived early (11:55 AM) and were placed in a room where the cats were weighed (Noon-12:05 PM). We waited for 20-25 minutes (12:25 PM) for the vet and the vet tech to come in for their rabies shots and bi-annual examination. The tech took the cats back individually to take their blood. All of this was accomplished by 12:50 PM.After the vet or tech leaves, the front staff is supposed to come in and do the check out process. In order to be expedient, I have my card on file. However, this particular day it took 18 minutes to actually get a front staff person to come in to help do the check out process and that was only after I opened the door requesting help from anyone. Who knows how long I would have waited if I hadn't stepped out of the exam room? My cats are anxious and we hate the prolonging of the appointments. This front staff person whose name escapes me but has blonde hair and glasses was rude. I explained we'd been waiting for awhile and she said "sorry but I was checking out another patient and you were next." Then she wanted to do the check out process at her desk at the front when for the last few years it's been done from the computer in the exam room. I needed to schedule a follow-up but she stated she didn't know for what and would need to find out. I provided those details so she scheduled it. During the payment process, she just skipped through everything quickly and mentioned she didn't double check the charges because she insinuated I was rushing her. Instead of one charge, my two cats' appointments were charged separately. They did give me a discount for waiting but this is the second time they've had to do this. She tried to show me where she was working on checking out another patient and pointed at a box on the screen that said "CampbellCats" which was actually us. Then she said "oh, I just got notified you're ready for check out at 1:08 PM" which is when she began the check out process in the exam room. She offered to email everything to just get us out of there but I wanted to schedule the necessary follow up and ask about when I'd get the bloodwork results (which in the chaos of check out I forgot to ask). I also like to see the itemized charges before I pay. I didn't get that opportunity because she was skipping through the check out process so fast and arguing with me about why she couldn't help us earlier and not listening to my specific complaint or anything I had to say. Her response should have been "you're right, I'm sorry" and not continue to argue with me.I know the vet has to input their notes into the computer so that can take some time. I get it. I know post-covid everything is crazy and veterinarians are under incredible amounts of stress. Their prices have always been a little higher than other local competing businesses but I thought their decades of experience and convenient proximity to my home was worth the extra expense. My last complaint is that their documentation sometimes doesn't match what is discussed in the appointments. They'll misreport weights or the condition of a particular body part. At the cats annuals in either February or March 2022, one cat had all the listed/given vaccinations from that visit on their wellness exam form but the other cat's wellness form did not. They're usually little details and It's likely accidental but something worth noting.

I really like this place. People were all nice, and they were concerned about bringing my dog into the room so we didn't have any interaction with other animals. But, it is a bit pricey. However I guess you get what you pay for. I've scheduled a surgery for my Girl Penni for her Spayed and hernia operation. Will update once it's done. Lastly, they did message the next day to check in on her after she had her shots. I thought that was really nice.

Ever call a place or visit a place with these wonderful reviews and wonder if how they got them or if it's the same placeexclamation. Point that was my experience today. My name is Gina my husband and I moved back to Michigan and we were thinking. I'm picking up a puppies all these. I wanted to run by some of my concerns of the breeder was telling me so the reception says let me get you some and they can help you and she just whoever this person was just started railing well. You don't you're not you know we don't have any of your money yet? Was basically the general theme will know and you won't be getting any? You need to treat people respectfully and decently and not just look at them like a dollar bill and that was my experience so.Wonderful.

Been bringing my dogs to Westarbor for almost 50 years. Even before Dr. Clarkson’s long run. They have always done excellent, professional, compassionate work. Surprisingly nice, even in the most difficult circumstances. The best.

Very unimpressed. Every time you call the office you have to listen to a long recording about how Covid is hard for them so they don’t have to provide good service. You aren’t allowed to walk in when you arrive, you have to call the office instead, feels unwelcoming. My 17 year old cat was declining and they kept insisting on doing more expensive diagnostics and refused to talk about prognosis or treatments without more tests. Ultimately took my cat elsewhere and had a much more down to earth / practical experience. Also their prices are crazy, very “Ann arbor” pricing. Disappointed that I wasted time and energy with them during a difficult experience when they should have been more supportive.

Excellent caring service. Very expensive when compared to other places. Both of my dogs came in for a booster shot to be given by the vet tech, that’s all we were there for and they charged us a $36 vet tech fee for both dogs even though the whole visit lasted 5 minutes. With shots and the Tech fee our bill was $147! I love the people there and they are knowledgeable but we cannot afford to go there any longer.
