Owner was super helpful and friendly. Bookstore is a rare gem. Great finds. Def. worth supporting a wonderful local niche bookstore like this one. Wonderful all around.

Love this bookstore!! I found a book on LBJ that had been hard to find. My first time visiting the store and I strongly recommend if you like the search process.

Extremely fascinating place, very very kind and interesting owner, who knew exactly where things were, and a very good atmosphere, bought 2 books and can’t wait to get invested in them.

Everything you would hope to walk into, in a used book store. Books, books, and more books.

Fair prices and so many interesting books! Spent an afternoon looking around and went home with a couple books on 19th and 20th century art in great quality. They accept both cash and card and we had a nice chat with the clerk on our way out.

Even with a cool looking store, a rude owner/worker will make it or break it. And the guy here has been amazingly rude on two occasions. Will not be back and will never recommend it.

Absolute gem of a shop. Specializes in antique collectible books with a good collection of maps and artwork. But not everything is high end, found a really beautiful vintage hardcover poetry book for $6. Always worth a visit.

This is possibly my favorite used book store I've been to in the country. It's a small place but there's something about it that feels like home. I've come here occasionally over the course of 15yrs and even did a photo shoot here during college. I no longer live in the area but try to pop in when visiting. That's how much I love this place. There's incredible photos in the back featuring Edward Curtis original prints. Hopefully you'll run into Douglas who works back there and who is incredible to talk to and is so kind. Decent prices. Incredible pieces of history. Perfect aesthetic.

My favorite used/vintage book store and a must do when I’m in Ann Arbor. Such an incredible variety of books, maps, and more.

This store is like being in a movie. Books piled all over in rooms that were part of an old house. I don’t think this places has changed in decades…you almost feel like your going to find a treasure map or pull on the right book and a secret passage will open up. Classic Ann Arbor.

First I have to say that this place is not 5 stars, it is 6 or more!I do not write reviews so often, I have been in plenty of bookstores but none reached to my heart as this one. The three rooms and an aisle plenty of curated books and photographs provide an eclectic mix of curated antiquarian and contemporary genere. If you are looking for some used and/or rare books then this is your must go place.
