I truly can’t speak highly enough of this vet. I’m grateful from the bottom of my heart to the whole staff for their steadfast determination, compassion, and wisdom through my dog’s health issues and later battle with cancer. You’ve never seen a dog more loved and well-cared-for at a doctor than him, and he would practically bust the door down to see some or his favorite people every time.
My puppy now benefits from the kindness of the team as well. From social visits to help him warm up to new situations to taking several minutes to patiently encourage him to use the scale, they’ve helped him grow so confident in such a short amount of time that he now loves to see his friends at the vet—just like his brother before him.
I’ve spent more time than most with the Washtenaw Veterinary Hospital staff (and vets in general), and I can honestly say they’re the best of the best. The facilities are clean, the service is always thorough but on time, and the doctors will work to uncover solutions and options other vets won’t even suggest (speaking from experience).

Dr. Butman is absolutely fantastic! We have been going to her for our dogs and cats through the years. She is the most knowledgeable, compassionate and talented vet. We are so grateful to her for all her care over the years

I’ve been a client here for many years. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else! All the Drs and staff have been nothing short of wonderful for my pets. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

I am new to Michigan and this place was recommended by my son in law. He has lived here for 4 years and has been to many veterinary clinics for his Old English sheep dog that is 13 years old that has many medical issues. He said this place was good. I took my Yorkie to establish him as a patient. I was pleased with the Dr that saw him and her assistant, very nice and knowledgeable. I made a second appointment for teeth cleaning and update him with Michigan vaccination requirements. It is pricey but I was given a low estimate and high estimate which I appreciate.

Called in a panic about my cat’s fast breathing to see if they do emergency appointments. After being told to go elsewhere got hung up on in the middle of a question.

Dr. Butler is amazing with our two cats. The entire team at Washtenaw Vet Hospital has been timely, professional, and kind. They communicate quickly and appropriately. We are new to this area and finding this Vet has been one of the best things we’ve done. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my dogs to Washtenaw Veterinarian Hospital for for just over 3 years. The care has been exceptional at every visit. The communication with all staff I've had has been clear and concise. Team members are always polite and promptly inform me of anything concerning my Dogs medical care. Dr Eberly has been my dogs primary vet and she is amazing. My dogs have seen the other veterinarians in the clinic when Dr Eberly had been unavailable. They have all been great. The pricing is excellent compared to other vets in the area (especially in A2). I wound honestly give them 6 stars if I could. From the 10 or so veterinarian clinics I've been to in the A2 area; I def feel they are the best vet clinic.Lastly, special shout out to the vet techs who cut Theo's nails without having to sedate him. You are true "Dog Whisperes"

Doctor Eberly took fabulous care of our senior golden retriever and has really helped to extend the quality of life of our now 13 year old puppy! Fantastic care from Dr. Butler and the team of techs / staff at WVH. They have done a great job treating my senior cat Linus who has a lot of complex chronic health issues (IBD, pancreatitis, small cell intestinal lymphoma).Dr. Butler and team are kind, patient, great at explaining things, and transparent about pricing and what’s necessary vs elective. I like that the room for cat appointments is quiet and separate from the main area of the clinic. I also appreciate that Dr. Butler goes out of her way to research treatment options and walks me through them in detail so we can make decisions together.When I had to take Linus to a specialist for more in-depth cancer diagnostics, the vet praised WVH’s thorough and effective treatment and medical record documentation. And while I was waiting for one of his cancer medications to be shipped from another pharmacy, WVH front desk staff went the extra mile to find me a 1-week supply of the med so we could start treatment immediately.I know my old boy won’t be around forever and it feels good having a team of nice folks to care for him in his senior years. Thanks for all that you do!

I am SO glad I started taking my pup here a few years ago! I have never received such thorough and compassionate care at a veterinary office before. All of the staff I have had interactions with here have been amazing, but I would particularly like to thank Dr. Butler for the exceptional care she has given my dog, Charlie. Dr. Butler discovered a tumor in Charlie’s abdomen recently and has been so thorough and compassionate throughout the process of investigating further. As a very attached dog mom who has been so worried, Dr. Butler has called me several times to check on us, has sent me numerous detailed emails, and has given so much of her time. I called yesterday evening, right as WVH was closing, after my dog had a concerning episode and Dr. Butler personally got on the phone and spoke with me for quite a while. She is always so thorough, compassionate, and truly cares SO much about her patients and their families. She has given me so much encouragement, helpful information, and has been so kind… constantly encouraging me to reach out any time I need to talk. I truly cannot thank her enough for the support she has given us during this stressful time. Thank you so much Dr.Butler and WVH staff!
