I will not be back. At first it felt like a good experience; test drove the vehicle we drove up (45 minutes) to look at. Finally got the trade in and cost almost to where we wanted it, and we thought we were happy, so kudos on that part! The deal was made with a few understandings....The floor mats we were promised have been nothing but an argument for over a year. I have finally just given up on waiting and having to reach back out to them multiple times. (Tried telling me first that they don't even make them for third row...).We were told we would receive these points that could be used at a dealer for a couple oil changes. After a year the points were still not dispersed and we had to make multiple calls ourselves to get them. Went in for an oil change only to find out this was enough points for one oil change, with a little extra but not nearly enough for another oil change. Annoying. There were a few spots on the interior that had food/candy or something stuck in the carpet/upholstery and some threads coming out. We were PROMISED he has the BEST guy to take care of that and that upon delivery of the vehicle it would all be taken care of. It was not... and i am STILL finding trash inside from the previous owners.... To be fair, we were told we could send the car back and they would try again. At this point we were just tired of talking about it as every conversation takes 20 minutes to get through.I did not appreciate all the uptalk and empty promises that came along with our (LARGE) purchase. If you, as a dealer, do not intend on following through with your promises, then just don't make them! I guess that's where all the stereotypes about used car dealers comes from...

Thank you Varsity Ford and Matt Stanford for making the buying process so easy and simple. We had a little hiccup at the beginning but Matt made the situation right and earned our business! The paperwork was quick, easy and I was in and out in about half hour when I bought my car. He personally made sure everything was taken care of, reached back out after I bought my car to double check all was well. I absolutely LOVE my new 2023 Ford Edge ST and am excited to have a great reliable car. If you're lookin for great service I would recommend Matt at Varsity Ford!

They called me and corrected the issue. Lance is great and totally turned my day around. I appreciate your immediate response to the issue. Thank you again :)Wow!! Very disappointed in the work that has been done on my car. This is how my car was returned to me after having it in the shop for over 3 months. I originally went in because my coolent was leaking into my engine, got that fixed. And then 20 minutes after I left varsity my check engine light came on… turns out the service tech forgot to put something back correctly. Well today I go to check my oil and I see my brake fluid reservoir is bungee corded to the side panel of my car… hmm cuz that makes sense. And to top it all off I still haven’t received any paperwork from the first time I was in there. Very very disappointing.

We have been getting our vehicles from Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor for the last 10-12 years. In our 45 minute drive to get there, we passed many Ford dealerships to get the quality of service that they delivered. This year, things have changed. In early May, we ordered an Explorer ST line. It was not produced on the original production date and pushed out a few months. During this time, we kept extending our lease until the Explorer we ordered came in. The vehicle finally arrived in late September. It turns out, it was not what we ordered.First, we were told that Ford is famous for making changes when they push dates out. It turns out that when the date was changed, Varsity Ford was sent a confirmation with the wrong seat configuration and the dealer confirmed it. We were also told that Ford credit would no longer extend the lease because the vehicle we ordered came in. We called Ford credit and were told that the dealer simply had to call and state that they made a mistake in the order and we could continue to extend our lease. This information was shared with the salesman who told us that was not true.We gave the dealer several days to fix the their error. The best they could do was offer us $10 less per month to take a vehicle that did not meet our needs. When the salesman was told that the price reduction was not good enough, we did not hear from him again. We went to another dealer that was willing to work with us and picked up a vehicle that had $2900 more in options for only $5 more a month than we were originally quoted. Now, Varsity Ford of Ann Arbor has lost a loyal customer who has purchased/leased many vehicles from them over the years.

Just purchased my 5th vehicle from Varsity Ford. (2023 F-150) Kyle House and the entire staff are the best I’ve ever dealt with. I definitely recommend giving them a call for your next Ford vehicle. Thanks again to the Varsity Ford family for taking care of everything I could ask for and more.5 star dealership

I took my vehicle in for standard service. It was returned with a series of errors. To fix the errors it was another $800+. Now weeks later the errors returned. When I called to request an appointment they only offered options 3 weeks out. When I asked for help they bounced me to 5 different people then hung up on me. Getting ahold of my assigned advisor Is a hassle and no one else will help me. No customer service!!! Awful communication!! Poor repair - recurring issues. My husband was shocked I was bounced around the way I did - he was right next to me the entire time I was on the phone. He said he should have called to avoid gender discrimination and me getting pushed around.

I have been taking my car there for service since I moved to Ann Arbor. I took my car in for what sounded like a bad muffler. They told me a part needed to be replaced, but they didn't have the equipment to replace that one part. They told me the only thing they could do is replace the entire exhaust system. They recommended a local muffler shop and said it would cost a couple hundred dollars instead of a couple thousand dollars to replace the whole system. It ends up that the part that needs replacing is actually $1000 online, and the shop I talked to said it was very difficult to install, and would probably cost quite a bit to install. However, they also noted that my brake pads were almost completely gone. I would have expected the Ford dealer to be checking things like that as I brought my car in for oil changes. Because of both of those things, I no longer trust the service department. I have had very good service technicians there in the past, but the most recent one was not very polite, and seem to treat me as though I didn't know what I was talking about. It may not have been the case, but I also felt like the reason I wasn't getting treated nicely was because I was a woman. I am looking for a new company to help take care of my car now. I've always had good care in the past, but even when I talk to the service manager about the muffler situation, I got the same exact story from him.

Recently, I had my 2014 Ford fusion Serviced at Varsity Ford. It was an excellent experience. My service technician, Kyle Stumbo, was efficient and polite. He explained clearly the service that would be done, what it would achieve and how long it would take. as always, the waiting room was clean and pleasant and all of the staff that I came in contact with were happy to help. When the service to my vehicle was completed, Kyle explained to me that the procedure I was told was necessary by an outside mechanic was not a problem, thus saving me a substantial amount of money and headaches. I appreciate his honesty. It was a very positive experience.

Had a great experience. Everyone was very helpful. In particular John C. in sales was enormously helpful. He really made the purchasing experience a joy. He worked hard to help me get the vehicle I wanted and made the process stress free and no pressure. Both my wife and I have purchased vehicles there now and have been completely satisfied with our experience, the vehicles themselves and the follow up. Would 100% recommend Varsity Ford (and John C.) to others.

Great employees and a great selection, but they don't have a good ev/phev choice, and their chargers are not available.Trying to get either a bev or phev for my wife. She wants something a little taller than their mustard sedan. They have dozens of gas models, but no phev to test drive. They have a bunch that were ordered, but those belong to people. So if I want a ford I have to wait. Wish ford would realize what almost every other manufacturer has, that we want to test drive cars before we buy them. Also, their chargers for customers. There is one on the west side of the building reserved for their delivery trucks. And four on the east side blocked by unsold mustangs. That is an impressive number, but how can customers use them? Charge your test drive mustangs at night, and make the chargers open for customers.

Picked up a brand new 2023 F-150 XLT on a lease yesterday and could not be happier with the experience. Kyle House is by far the best car salesman I’ve ever worked with and it’s not even close. He made the process completely painless I was looking to get myself into a truck but expressed that it was more of a want, not a need. Kyle was able to get me into one for a great price and answered all the questions that I had.One last thing that was extremely appreciated was his no pressure approach. It gave me the clarity to think about it myself, ask the questions I wanted answered, and make a decision. I highly recommend him!

In for service, and as always, Kyle and the service team kept me updated on the completion of their work! They never over promise and under deliver. They give me realistic time-frames for the work.I've been going to Varsity for new car sales with Brad B since 2008, and I am very loyal. Since moving out of Ann Arbor, I now live further away from Varsity Ford, but I continue to go to Varsity Ford for my new vehicle purchases and service! Brad always takes care of us with seamless transactions. He is so friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. On the service side...I've never been to a dealership with SIX service rep counter spaces. I love that, because I know they have the biggest service and repair staff to get service jobs done quickly and on time.Thank you again Brad in sales, Kyle in service, and the rest of the team at Varsity Ford!

My husband and I recently leased a F150 from Varsity Ford, the process was incredibly smooth, not scary at all being our first time leasing a vehicle. Donovon Fox was our salesman and he was amazing from start to finish. He made the process so smooth and easy and made us incredibly comfortable throughout the entire process. Quick fantastic service the whole way. He made himself very accessible by phone and text and quickly responded and answered all of our questions! We will always lease through Varsity Ford.

This was my first purchase at Varsity Ford and let me tell you, this is how purchasing a vehicle should be. David Byron was very professional and straight forward. From the order to the delivery it was simple and easy. I will do business again with David in the future.
