Poor customer service. If you need to visit the postal service, avoid this location. Seek out a different branch; any other place will likely provide a better experience.

The past couple of months the Whitmore Lake postal office has been completely messing up my mail delivery. Nothing has been getting delivered to my mailbox in my name, but they will deliver everything that appears in my grandmother’s name. They have lost now 3 debit cards in the mail. I also had an extremely important document (that shows up in my daily digest) that was supposed to be delivered today. All of my grandmother’s mail that was to be delivered today got delivered, but none of my mail was delivered. This is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

The phone operator is set up very poorly, if I'm calling it should not hang up after trying to speak to a representative. I should have been placed on hold.

Today, I witnessed while standing in line, a woman approach the counter with a package and a printed label. She asked if the woman behind the counter, who was wearing sunglasses indoors, if she could tape the label on the box for her. Her request was denied and she was directed to the wall where packaging tape was available (for 3.99 per roll). This is our UNITED STATES Post Office.

I used to love USPS, but they have really dropped in quality. My package was misdelivered and they refuse to do anything about it nor will they reimburse me for their mistake.

The USPS in past years was world class. Many poor management decisions have seriously degraded the service. The drive through mail boxes on the side of this post office is a classic example. The “new” placement of the boxes and tiny slots make it very difficult (impossible for most folks) to deposit letters into the box from a vehicle. You now need to stop, exit your vehicle and walk to the mail box to deposit your mail. The objective of “drive through” is 90% lost. Clearly, the objectives of the “new” mail boxes was misunderstood by the management of the USPS. We can do better than this!

This post office is a disaster. I dropped a package in the box INSIDE the building. The last pickup time for the day said 5 pm, I put it in there at four…. Three days later, it’s still not tracking! How incompetent do you need to be to not be able to even scan something in? I have customers that think I’m incompetent now, because I chose this post office. Never again!

I have to come to the post office for work on a regular basis, it’s part of my job. The employees are rude, inefficient and slow. They lack basic customer service skills and all sense of urgency. Expect to wait in long lines almost every visit. If you’re in a situation like me, you unfortunately don’t have a choice.

Was only one person at the counter, but dude was very efficient and when I got to the counter even though he couldn't do what I needed he went above and beyond giving me resources to do so.Would be 5 stars but I was in line for like 10 minutes, regardless dude was very very helpful

They helped me carry my package weighing 40lbs by offering a dolly when I requested. It was a nice experience. Would go back.
