This is a hidden gem on campus. Located on the fourth floor. No one would know unless ypu.look on the directory. Rooms were great. Parking was free.

I stayed for a few days in late June, 2023. My room was clean & beautiful. I wish that I was staying longer & I'll definitely be back. I don't understand why people complain so much about things that do not matter, i.e. foods provided for FREE at their breakfast grab 'n go counter. The location, friendly service & price cannot be beat! Many thanks to the manager, check-in & check-out staff, as well as housekeeping! ALL of the staff bent over backwards to ask if I needed anything, how my stay was going, etc. The nicest people of any place I've stayed at for many, many years.BTW - I loved your soap so much that I've ordered 25 bars of it through amazon!

I requested a room away from the elevator when i made the reservation. I was placed in a room with the shell of the elevator as part of the room. I did not sleep very well.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. The first was pre-pandemic. Boy have things changed. I checked into my room and it looked clean, but looks are deceiving. There was a ring around the toilet bowl...a simple scrub or pour of beach would have taken care of this. There were long black hairs in the bathroom, we all have short blond hair....not ours. There was a chair in the room and there was food between the cushions.
Also, there was no maid service during the stay. We were not made aware of this, and for $250 a night this should have been provided. Especially since the cleaning person was sitting at the end of the hall on their phone for most of the day.

Loved just about everything about the place. It is on the top (4th) floor of the League right next door to Hill Auditorium on the UM campus. There is an elevator. In an older bldg, the price was right (180.00/night includ. tax) and included tea/coffee all day and a mini breakfast starting at 8PM. The breakfast was juice, yogurt and package bagels with cream cheese. Would really be nice to have a toaster. The room and bed was comfy but would have liked a toilet lid, I was always afraid I would accidentally drop something in the toilet. The reception desk is manned by student workers. Would stay there again.

Incredibly convenient location for my wedding reception which was downstairs. Rooms are nice enough and desk service is pretty mediocre. Strangely rigid checkout policy

The furnishings were nice. The water was hot. It’s downhill from there. The website says breakfast vouchers. No, you have to pre order cold food. Basically either a cold bagel or a fruit cup. There’s a cafe in the building but no hot food. The coffee tastes like cardboard. The building is old and poorly insulated. Needs paint. No smart TV. The location is convenient, but there are real hotels nearby. Won’t make this mistake again.

We had a perfect day at the Inn at the Michigan league. Our stay wasn't too different than our recent stay at the Harvard faculty club: A simple well-kept room in a lovely building on campus. This isn't a hotel with 5-star amenities. There is no ice machine, concierge service, bar. We had a view of Burton tower from our window. The price was extremely reasonable reasonable. And parking right next door behind the dental school is included. Such a deal!

I enjoyed our two night stay at The League on the campus of the University of Michigan.
At first, I was skeptical about the idea of sleeping in a room above a well-patronized student union, no matter how historic the building. With a reception desk that looked more like a large parking lot cashier station and a hallway that had all the charm of an abandoned study hall, the prospects looked slim.
However, my wife, a True Blue, gently convinced me. The room did the rest.
With a nice view over a crosswalk, the spacious room had a sturdy, oversize king size bed ensconced in a heavy dark walnut-stained frame. I graded the sleep quality an A+. Closet and drawer space was capacious. The marble framed bathtub added to the solemnity. And despite my misgivings, the only outside sound I heard was occasionally the bells of the nearby clock tower.
Coffee and pre-ordered breakfast boxes were available at a station in the hallway. Free parking was included at the nearby Dental School. The Wi-Fi signal was strong. Excellent mask discipline by staff and guests.
Bottom line: rooms at The League compare well with any other university club accommodation and many private clubs. It’s a great price/value choice for anyone visiting the school. And my wife left with a bonus dose of alumna nostalgia. My rating is only meant to signal the spareness of the amenities.

Cool antique furniture in the rooms. Free wifi and coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful as well.

It's an old facility, but if your business is on the university campus, it's very convenient.

I attended a wedding here. It was beautiful and the food was great. However, students were wandering past and gawking and there appeared to be a tour group that came through during the reception. They didn't come into the ballroom but walked by slowly and took photos inside.

The League is a nice place to stay, but there are better hotels in Ann Arbor. Really only would stay there for the nostalgia.
