Hands down my favorite vintage shop. I don’t live in the area so I primarily shop through Instagram. They are always quick to respond and enthusiastic to help me find what I’m looking for. They ship promptly and everything has always arrived in a timely manner and in pristine condition. If an item does have a “flaw” (which can happen with vintage!) they’re always sure to make me aware before I purchase. I think I have bought most of the garments I’ve worn for major life events here (ie wedding, showers, birthdays, memorable vacations) and I always feel like a million bucks because I’m wearing something unique that not everybody is wearing right now. I also buy most of my gifts here. I was able to visit in person once and the staff was lovely and the vibes were 10/10. You can tell the owners love what they do, are passionate about fashion, but also giving the customer a memorable experience. If you’re not local, don’t fret! They post daily on Instagram and if you don’t see what you need just send a DM and they can look around for you. TGV for life!

I am really happy with a lot of the garments I’ve gotten from this cute little place! Great decor, kind staff and unique clothing. Unfortunately, their prices are going way up. Of course, I get that, inflation is crazy and we all have to pay bills, so no big deal, but it has made a lot of their pieces out of my budget. I was really excited on the day of the art fair to see that they had a big sale and went to check it out! Got a great belt for only a dollar. However, I saw they were selling a lot of clothes that were stained and ripped. They were cheaper, obviously, but I have to say it felt demeaning that they were selling them at all. I can’t really afford anything nice, but thankfully they’ll sell me something that’s ripped? A little insulted. Of course it’s possible that it was a mistake on their part-but I don’t think it casts a great image for their business.

Keeping an awesome small business alive on State Street has got to be worthy of several trophies! I'm so glad The Get Up Vintage exists, and that they keep bringing their beautiful hearts and souls to an otherwise boring-corporate-homogenous shopping area.I'm always excited to shop here. They're a true gem in Ann Arbor!

I love shopping here when I'm in town and always refer friends when they visit Ann Arbor. Very unique and quality pieces, and the pricing is reflective of the quality and pricing for Ann Arbor vintage. Thanks for always providing a fabulous shopping experience!!

Was accused of stealing after walking around the store for 3 minutes. The employees attitude was rude and straight assumed I was stealing. Way too over priced.

Love this vintage shop. Terrific selection of well-curated vintage clothing, from the 1950s through at least the 1990s. Prices are good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely worth checking out!

I visit Ann Arbor a few times a year and make a point to stop here each time because I always find very cute clothes. One of the best vintage clothing shops I’ve ever visited and I’ve visited a lot of them in cities around the world. Great prices, too!

Greta vibes, love that items are organized by item type as well as decade!

I sold some of my vintage clothes to the assumed owner a few months ago and she was very rude during the entire experience. I came in with a smile and a readiness to meet with someone who was passionate about vintage clothes and was met with a very monotoned buyer who lowballed me on some great pieces and also acted like she overall didn't want to talk (even about the clothes I was selling). I took the money only because it took so much energy to set up the meeting. Would not recommend.

The owner of the store really knows their buissnes. That is incredibly clear from the intentionality of how the pieces are priced. Nothing is undervalued because everything is genuinely quality.Incredibly nice vibe in storeLucia, the shop person, made our day!

This was a great vintage place. They had a lot of pieces and the quality was really good (especially for the older pieces). I was surprised by the quality of the 1950s pieces I found. I also liked that they included useful information on the tags (like measurements) and organized the pieces by decade so you can narrow down to your preferences (but of course browse other decades). Ended up getting a really beautiful 1950s dress with trim detailing. Love it.

Super cute clothing, pretty pricy for used clothes even for being vintage. However the place smelled strong of feces. I had to leave because it was so strong, would have spent more time inside but physically couldn't.

This is a very nice little shop with a wide variety of clothing from a lot of different eras and of different styles. Mostly tops, bottoms, and dresses, but there was a decent selection of accessories as well in the back of the store. The employee working was so kind and welcoming. I didn't find anything that worked out for me this visit, but I will be sure to come back!
