This is the perfect clothing store for men with a need for athletic fit clothing. The store is well organized and it is easy to see what the choices are as you browse in the store. The performance fabrics they use are easy care and machine washable and the styles are classic without looking “dated” (you won’t look like your father).The service is friendly. You will actually want their help! Madelyn knew enough about the fit and the care of the clothing to make me confident that the clothes i picked out would be a good choice for my 24 year old son!

Admittedly I have only ordered from State & Liberty's online store, but so far I am very happy with their product! You get what you pay for with this brand, and the quality is top notch. Also they have fantastic customer service. High recommend!

Very nice store, exceptional customer service. The shirts, pants and jackets are all made from superb materials and are very comfortable. Lisa and Tyrone were very helpful with selections and with the clothing. I will definitely be back for custom tailoring.

This is the first time I’ve ever had a suit that fits my build. I literally thought I was destined to look boxy in suits and they’ve proven me wrong. I can’t express in words what it means to me to have a really nice suit, that looks so damn good, fits like a glove and is affordable. I can’t wait to order another one.

* REVISED***I'd written a review based on my experience purchasing a full suit from S&L as part of a wedding party. After talking with a representative from the company, I realized my experience being fitted for an S&L suit as part of a wedding was not the true experience most customers might have when shopping at this company, and I've thus adjusted my review.**Thier dress shirts -- if you size up two full sizes -- look nice and tailored, and are excellent for hot days because they breathe better than every dress shirt, and the moisture wicking is amazing. I'm actually a fan of their shirts save for the weird gapping that occurs at the bottom when seated. No matter how fit you are, if you sit down and you're not wearing an undershirt (they recommend not wearing an undershirt), people will see your belly button.

Great experience. The staff was wonderful and responsive. I came in for a pair of pants and walked out with a suit that I can mix and match the top as a sport jacket and the bottoms work with other sport jackets I own.

My fiancé and I drove from Sault Ste. Marie ON to S&L to order his suit for our wedding. We made a little trip out of the weekend and visiting State and Liberty was such a highlight of the trip. Everyone was professional and courteous, and the atmosphere was very chill. His suit, as well as his groomsman's suit, arrived promptly and both fit like a glove; a true testament to the gentlemen's talent who helped them out. I recommend State & Liberty to everyone.

Great experience all around. It's hard for me to find professional clothes that fit my athletic frame, but they had exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was great and the clothes are very high quality. Jacob was a huge help and I would recommend him to anyone.

Matt & Genna are incredible to work with and frankly the main reason I will continue to go back. I had several issues arise with quality issues and normally I would take my business elsewhere, but Genna personally handled each instance that arose (buttons coming loose and a zipper defect) going above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.None of the other groomsmen had issues with their suits/clothes, so I believe it to have been a string of bad luck on my end. It's pricey, but incredibly comfortable and stylish. I've probably received upwards of 10+ compliments from strangers on a coat I purchased from here. Style is a "5", Customer Service (especially from these two) is a "5", Quality is 3.5 (avg of 5 and 2 depending on if you have issues), and Price is 2.5 (avg of 4 and 1 depending on quality). Overall I give it a "4".

I’ve bought about ten shirts from State and Lib over the years and am a huge fan. The shirts are comfortable and look nice. Plus you can wash them with other clothes and don’t need to worry about ironing. Huge fan and will continue to be a loyal customer.
