Staff are unfriendly and not helpful. I recommend having your prescriptions transferred elsewhere.

IS THIS U OF M STANDARD?By far, worst experience to date.My PCP sent in a very important and time sensitive prescription to U of M’s East Ann Arbor Pharmacy. The prescription request was around 10am.At around 5pm, my daughter stopped in at the East Ann Arbor Pharmacy to pick it up. They told her the script was cancelled because they do not dispense that medication.SO, in 7 hours time, they could not contact my PCP or me to let me know they could not fulfill the request. Mind you, my PCP is affiliated with UofM so it’s not like they couldn’t find his office number OR send a message back to them.Unbelievable !Your messing with people’s lives.Oh, and the pharmacist did not seem to care about our issue nor offer any help.Is this really the standard U of M wants to set for themselves.

On 3/9/20 my doctor submitted an eRx for a new medication that would require up to a week for approval. On 3/16 I went to the pharmacy and was told that the doctor had not processed the Rx. I spoke to the doctor's assistant who apologized and said that she had just processed the Rx. On 3/23/20 I received notification that the Rx had been approved and that I would receive a phone call when it arrived. On 3/25/20 I called the East AA Pharmacy and was told that "because no one came to pick up the Rx we sent it back." When I told them that no one had called to inform me that the medication was available for pick up I was told "We don't call patients to tell them that their medication is here."Am I missing something? How in the name of God is a patient supposed to know to pick up their Rx when it could take anywhere from 1 day to 14 days to get a medication in? Are we supposed to just start calling every day? When I asked to speak to the Pharmacist in charge I was told that they don't know who that is. There seems to be no caring on the part of these employees that the medications are necessary for health reasons and that this "I don't give a damn attitude" is unacceptable for health care providers and ancillary providers such as pharmacies. OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Staff was extremely rude, had no idea how to answer basic questions, and service was extremely slow. Get your medications elsewhere!

I have had to pick up prescriptions here for the past six months because my insurance will only cover certain meds through this pharmacy. I have not had my rx ready once when I arrived. They either have the meds but no syringes, or the syringes but not meds, or the wrong med and wrong dosage and have not noticed. It is literally something every single time I arrive.
