Dr fung is amazing. She’s been a blessing since our cats are so scared of everything and everyone. She even helped us find a home for the stray we found a few months ago. Highly recommended for all your pet’s medical and routine needs.

WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER!!!!!! The vet had the nerve to tell me what I was doing with a high active dog, she literally put me down by asking what I was doing with a high energy dog, yes the dog nipped her because she came across in a very aggressive toward my son and myself. My son has special needs and he had to leave the room because he felt she was yelling at him about the dog. What all my husband and myself did was rescue a dog and we just wanted a dog also and it was the breed that we were praying for. The dog was neglected and my husband and I were put down for trying to do the right thing. This vet traumatized my son so bad he had to contact his case worker at Washtenaw Community Mental Health. My dog was traumatized because she yanked him around and he is still only a puppy. Yes, again he had nipped her, but he felt he was protecting his family. After all this trauma, I was told it would be $577.00 for all his shots and I had to prepay for them. When I was quoted on the phone for $65.00 Yes my dog needs his shots but not by this place all they were about was traumatizing the owners and their special needs son, and getting more money out of us. She also kept saying we couldn't take our dog out in public and to keep him away from people, I get that but she kept saying you can get sued over and over again. When she said our dog needed to be trained, I said could we take him to Petsmart and she said this dog is beyond pet smart and needs a real professional and gave us a number way out in Grosse Pointe Farms. No considering if we were low income or not she didn't care. I was sick and tired oof her ridiculing us for being new pet owners. NEVER TAKE YOUR ANIMALS THERE THE VET IS EVIL!

I took my cat to the clinic today for vaccination, and I was extremely impressed with the care provided by the doctor and her staff. They were incredibly helpful, patient, and thorough. They carefully explained and triple-checked every detail about my cat and the related requirements. I am so thankful to have found this clinic.

They did a great job. Referred us to a surgeon that took care of a previous surgery that was not healing. Staff was extremely helpful and treated Stella with care.

While I am certain some folks are okay with a primarily technical/ physiological clinic to tend to their pets, I would advise caution when it comes to this location. I used this facility for my service girl twice and was done after their veterinarian had tended her the second time. The Vet told me they took rectal temps, had to shave the area they were treating, used at least one sedative and antibiotics shot, finally placing the "cone of shame" on her at the end of the procedure. What bothered me and ended our relationship was when the Vet wanted to get x-rays and do lab work because my girl was panting rapidly and heavily...My girl is afraid of anything that makes certain sounds (like that of shears/ trimmers), she had a thermometer and at least one finger in her backside, she'd been "manhandled" (the shots), knocked out, had the cone stuck on her and their was no "Daddy" to comfort her. OF COURSE SHE WAS PANTING HEAVILY!My point is this: while they may know certain animal anatomies, they know precisely squat about how and why those animals act and react they way they do.Call the Humane Society of Huron Valley. They go well above and beyond this place for treatment of animals and their owners!

I am not a client of this clinic but I recently applied for a job here and received a phone call from Sue. She did not have the best personality over the phone (which I wasn't going to hold against her) but the kinds of questions she asked were highly unprofessional. I put on my resume that I was going to college in the fall to become a vet assistant and she was rude about that even after I explained that it would be online and would not interfere with work whatsoever. Then she asked me if I had any children that would be "getting in the way" and if I was vaccinated . I understand employers asking if your vaccinated that wasn't my issue but when I told her no she asked me why and I said because I would like to do some more research on this and some of my family members have had negative reactions to the vaccine so I was still up in the air about it. She then proceeded to tell me in a very rude condescending way that that's ridiculous and covid has been around for almost 2 years and I had to make a decision. She then asked me about my experience levels and when I told her I had over 5 years exeprtince she was only willing to start me at 12$ an hour. I've never been interviewed by someone so unprofessional in my entire life and I can't even imagine what actually working here would be like .

I took my dog to Dr. Sutton for about 6 months. Everything was great and the staff were very kind to her. However, when she fell very ill and needed the most care, we were completely abandoned. We called several times, left voicemails, but not response or follow-up. Luckily, the ladies at Compassionate Care stepped in to keep her comfortable in her last few weeks. We never heard from anyone at Parkway again.

Dr Sutton has cared for my dog twice when we were in town and had unexpected need of a vet. Diagnosis, treatment, and meds were well explained. Blazer and I were very happy with the care received

Parkway animal clinic has done an outstanding job with my dog Milo. From wellness visits to a couple of emergencies. They are very trustworthy, experienced and provide excellent customer service. I would recommend them to anyone seeking care for their pets. Thanks

My kitten had stopped eating/playing so after a week we took him to Parkway. After spending over $500 on blood work and X-rays on 1/13/21, I got no response and no solutions to his problem. One week later he was not any better so we took him back. My appointment was for 4:15pm and my cat and I waited in my car until 5pm when they finally took my cat in. They had not received his blood work back and could not suggest any treatment. So instead, they recommended another set of expensive X-rays to "compare" to last time. I stated I could not afford another set of X-rays just to compare from the last visit. They understood but urged my kitten to at least get fluids for nutrition and that it will "only cost $50." After visitation fees, I left almost 3 hours later spending over $100, with no answers on what was wrong with my kitten, again. I called almost every other day to see if his blood work results came in and after continuously reaching out over a 2 week period, a technician told us they received the results. However, only the vet was qualified to inform us of the results, and that once the vet came back she would call us. A few day pass and I call again today (2/5/21), the vet is not there again but finally gives me a call 2 hours later. The vet asked how my cat was doing and proceeded to tell me his blood work results (from 3 weeks ago) were "very bad," with little to no concern in her presentation. She then recommended another blood test and I quote "to see how he's doing now and it'll only cost $70." I was BAFFLED. She had the audacity to ask for MORE money without 1. Not telling us what was even wrong and 2. Giving us ZERO solutions yet again. I have spent over $700 and over 3 weeks with a suffering kitten, desperate for any type of help at all. Parkway took advantage of me during desperate times. Parkway does not care about my kitten, they do not care about me, they only care about money. I understand with COVID there would be delays but 3 weeks with no urgency to call me about my kitten's "very bad" blood work results is absolutely shameful. Their lack of decency, communication, and compassion is what I am utterly disappointed about. I cannot speak for everyone's experience however, if you want a vet who genuinely cares for your pet and not your wallet, find somewhere else.

**Edit**After scheduling another appointment and going through the motions with their team, I felt I needed to amend my previous 1-star review to better reflect the service. The team who assisted with my kitties surgeries (Dr. Linda Fung-Rogers) was beyond amazing, and her dedication to helping animals is clearly visible in her communication to me throughout the process.I think I could boil my previous issues down to really just one person, which is why the review is now 5-stars. Sue was the one (who below) failed to follow-up and schedule an appointment after the power/internet outage that caused them to cancel my first appointment. She also failed to convey pre surgery details to me, which would have been nice to know. She also came out to the car to get information for the cats without a mask, and I had to remind her to go back and get a mask. So yea, really the only bad dog here is Sue, everyone else is beyond amazing. So if you call here, and do get the pleasure of working with Sue, just ask for someone else. Previous review left below for context.Lack of follow-up on multiple occasions, reception seems rushed an non empathetic. Was able to go to veterinary school and finish training by the time they called back. Would not recommend, bad dogs here.

Awful. I was asked to come in at 9:45 but ended up waiting 2 hours before anything can be done and was charged for the waiting time even tho it’s due to the poor time management here. The vet looked very unprofessional and my dog was in pain. Not coming back.

I have a leopard gecko and she developed a sore on her mouth so I took her to parkway and I am so happy I did . when I first made an appointment they could only get me in a week later but when I called back to see if there were any cancellations they were able to get me in a day later . When I Arrived arrivedI only had to wait 5 minutes before I was able to go in. And my gecko was able to be treated .
