Overture Audio has the best in audio equipment, the best values and the nicest guys working there. I'm very impressed with their knowledge and helpfulness. I moved back from Phoenix about 5 years ago, and since that time I go in fairly often to see what they have available. They always have something that interests me, and with the help of the three guys in the store, Craig, Keith and a new guy, I know I'm getting the best advice you could get anywhere. With their years of audio experience, I greatly appreacte that I can rely on them for advice. On my last visit, Craig went over and above to help me and I was so grateful for his help. I even love Keith's dogs and they always make my day too. I've been buying audio since the 1970s and Overture Audio has brought back the fun I always had in searching for fun vintage and new audio equipment.

I'm going to give feedback from a customer point of view regarding interaction with staff only, as I never got the chance to hear/talk about product service or quality of the organization. I called ahead to ask about hours- Me: Hi, are you open until 7 tonight? Bob's response: yes, we are. Me: ok thanks. Bob: hangs up, no good bye or thank you. Inauspicious start. I walk into store 20 minutes later." At 5:30pm. Someone is moving stuff around- middle aged guy salt/pepper hair with beard. Guy: how can I help you? Me: I haven't been in before, just came in to look around. How is the equipment merchandised? Guy: it's not, just wander around. Turns and goes back to moving stuff around. I'm a seasoned retailer with a 30 year career of selling, leading, buying and managing at store level and national level. I'm a sophisticated buyer with lots of money to spend. This guy looks like he's been around. Maybe having a bad day. Maybe just the way he rolls. But if this is the engagement that you expect of your people, I suggest you just close up shop and do something else, as you are no where near any maximization of your sales staff and helping customers by selling them on why they should buy from you. Your job is to engage with the customer, educate, build rapport and sell them on the virtues of your product offering and to teach why a customer should do business with you. Never got to engage simply because your representative was in no way receptive to my being in the store. Body language, interpersonal skills and just the ability to smile can happen a long way. I then walk into store down the street- Paragon Sight and sound. I'm greeted as I walk in- 20 minutes until closing. Young lady smiles and asks me if I've been in before. Then asks if she can tell me how the store is set up. She is gracious and warm. Offers me complimentary water or coffee. Treats me as if she's welcoming me into her home. I don't know if I'll do business with Paragon. But I never even got to hear anything about Overature's offering and am sure I won't be doing business there. Do better or fail.

They attentively helped me diagnose and replace the cartridge in a 40-year old turntable. Set it up with the correct tracking weight and anti-skate free of charge while I waited. Very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with.

Tom O'Keefe went way out of his way and did a masterful job on my 30+ year old VPI turntable with an obsolete Well Tempered Arm at a very reasonable price. Most places wouldn't have bothered to come up with the solutions to fix it. Thank You. Highly recommended.

Brought in a set of bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer to have looked at. They said they were very busy on Saturday and they would have to get to it another day and I could pick them up. After browsing the store for some used gear, TJ asked if I wanted to bring in the speakers to look at. He took them right back to his bench and immediately diagnosed the issue with them and showed me the option to fix it on my own. He also was able to find some speakers that were a little out of my budget, but he sold it so well, I ended up getting them. He was not at all pushy, but more informative and honest. It's easy to spend thousands of dollars on gear here. I walked out spending just under $500, which is nothing here, but he treated me like I was a top paying customer. I had another problem when I got my new speakers home and TJ spent over 30 minutes on the phone solving the problem with me. Excellent service you can't get at big box stores.

My husband and I have been here a couple times now, and we really like them. Not pushy about anything, but they are friendly and have a good variety of gear. They seem to be pretty happy to help us with anything we need, and really easy going.

Overture audio is a place I go to in Michigan only. I've known Keith the owner since 1990. TJ always takes care of me I have known him for years. They are honest they're up front and they always steer me in the right direction. They give me a lot of options. Also when I traded my stuff in I got a good price. They also work with you. If my family or friends need something that has to do with hi-fi I send them to overture audio. I'm glad they're still in business and I'm glad that they still carry linn It's a wonderful product and so it's NAD. Thanks overture for all you do. Jeff a customer for life.

The quality of the gear for sale is high, and the folks there know their stuff, but some of the staff are appallingly rude. While I was waiting to have a new cartridge installed on my turntable, one of the salespeople actually told me to leave the store because he wanted to play something for another customer, so I got to spend fifteen minutes killing time in the parking lot. I grant that mine was probably not the biggest purchase of the day, but I have a problem with being treated like a second-class citizen for only spending $300. I will also admit the guy who served me was pleasant and very professional, but his friend could take some lessons. (For the record, they appeared to be taking COVID-19 protocols seriously -- all staff and customers wore masks, they made sure folks were spread out, and they had plenty of hand sanitizer.) Audiophiles will find what they're looking for, but if the staff don't feel like being polite, don't be shocked.
