I was hesitant to come to this seminar, however I’m so glad I did! What I learned from Adele with my dog will definitely help with not only Obedience but will help with whatever sport we want to do. Thank you Adele?

Attended Adele's heeling camp over Labor Day weekend and a Fundamentals seminar the previous June. Adele starts at the beginning and builds the parts needed for a complete skill. She is concise and will stay with you until you understand. You get lots of floor time. I really appreciated the healthy food she served at her heeling camp. She had food for all our preferences. She made you feel important in so many ways. Thanks, Adele!

Great seminar on healing. Adele makes it fun. She is able to break down the many details that it takes to get a beautiful heal. There were 3 rings set up to work the dogs. We had much more floor training time than I ever expected. I look forward to applying what we learned in the seminar. And she also provided a great lunch.Thanks Adele for sharing your years of experience.

I attended the heeling camp at Northfield Dog Training with my 2 year old retriever. My friend and I drove about 8 hours from Canada to attend and I just couldn't be happier. I learned so much from Adele. I really appreciate that she can adapt her training to suit both large breeds and small breeds. That's a very valuable skill.She's a very flexible trainer who respects each students goals from the high achiever to students that want to just title their dog.I loved every minute of the seminar and it was so worth the trip.I'm eager to start to put it all into practice.

My Border terrier, Hannah, and I attended Adele's Heeling Clinic this past weekend. We had fun and learned a lot. Adele has a vast knowledge and a lot of experience in this area and many others that are dog related. The nice thing is that she is able to teach in a way that is easy to understand no matter what level the dog/handler team is in.

I attended the heeling clinic this weekend with my puppy Gaines.It was a great clinic covering so many training techniques and foundation work. I have attended this clinic with another dog several years ago and was happy to see this clinic offered. I had a working spot as did most people.I am inspired to do some retraining of foundation work with my utility dogThe clinic was well organized and flowed very well. I have trained many dogs of different breeds with Adele over the years and feel setting a good foundation is so important! I am doing some retraining with my utility dog after attending the clinic. Looking forward to more clinics.Nancy Potter

I spent two days at Northfield’s Heeling Camp. During this Camp, Adele demonstrates various obedience skills with the assistance of her dogs. Then, participants are given the opportunity to train their own dogs using these techniques. She also provides invaluable individual coaching advice while the handlers are training their dogs. I would attend any future camp at Northfield.

I attended Heeling Camp Sept 2&3, 2023. It was great! I participated as an auditor and got a ton of information to use. The working teams got plenty of floor time with individual attention from Adele. I would highly recommend this seminar to anyone wanting to improve their heeling skills. Thanks for a great seminar!

Attended the "Heeling Seminar" over the weekend as an auditor. It was a lot more than "Heeling"! I was able to take lots of notes and enjoy every second. Thanks Adele. I have come home all eager to put her lessons into practice. Well worth the long drive from Canada.

Adele is a fabulous competition trainer with a wealth of knowledge. I attended an in-person clinic with her last weekend and can’t even quantify what all I’ve learned. She understands all breeds and all sizes and can trouble shoot pretty much every issue you could possibly have.

I really enjoyed the seminar, she was very attentive to the working teams meeting each person at their level. She was great answering questions of the auditors as well. She showed her fundamentals and then tailored the seminar to those in attendance. Looking forward to her heeling camp.

We just completed our second hybrid video/in-person class at Northfield Dog Training with Adele Yunk. The hybrid format allows you to watch training videos on specific topics and prepare for the coming in-person class. The videos illustrate, step-by-step, how to successfully complete a task. Each video has a clear objective or objectives listed along with problems that might be encountered along the way, and possible solutions. Adele is careful to point out in the videos when tasks are performed properly, when there’s room for improvement, and when they just are not working – for both the dog and the handler.When you get to the in-person class, this saves a lot of time because everyone is already familiar the exercises and Adele can focus on refining the performance of the dog and the handler.Written instructions and notes that go along with each video are provided for those studious enough to want to do more homework. They’re a great reference and they’re good to have at hand when you’re first trying an exercise.

Adele's knowledge was beneficial in helping us train our 7 month old puppy. The videos that she includes with the classes help prepare you for the upcoming class. The videos along with the written instructions really make the experience enjoyable. Adele gives great advice in how to discourage certain puppy behaviors, such as counter surfing or jumping up on company. It was a joy to work with her and we look forward to working with her again.
