“Ann Arbors hidden secret. A little tricky to find, but once you find it, it becomes your go to spot for everything. Excellent pizza and prepared foods. Great selection of beer, wine and liquor with very reasonable prices. Service is excellent and friendly. The store is a little bit older, but this doesn't affect the service or anything, just an observation. Definitely worth a stop”

“I live near this party store and I go there often. Al the owner is really cool. Kind and friendly and always interested in trying to carry brands that you like. The entire staff is awesome. I’m not a craft beer fan, but they have a huge selection of local and National craft beers if you are into that. More importantly, for me, is that they also have a great stock of European pilsners and lagers. I’m German and that’s the beer I’m used to drinking. They also have a really extensive wine selection, and prices that beat most places around. They stock a good selection of chilled whites and sparkling wine as well, if you don’t have time to chill it yourself. The Ben & Jerry’s freezer is full of many varieties of ice cream which is also a huge plus for me. I love this place and feel fortunate to live nearby and be able to support a local business run by wonderful people.”

“This is an amazing wine shop, in the old style. It's crammed full of bottles. The owner is knowledgeable and very helpful. I can't believe I never stopped here before! I thought it was a little convenience store. They also have a good selection of spirits. I walked out with some tasty Armagnac and some pear eau de vie, which they helped me pick out. I definitely plan on becoming a return customer.”

“The best last minute shop on your way home is the closest one, and Wolverine Party Shoppe is that for me, and made better by friendly staff and that they have U-Haul rentals has been a great convenience for me whether it be moving to a new home or just needing a big van to transport a purchase. “Just had a terrific deep dish pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. The crust was light and airy, yet crispy. The tomato sauce really tasted tomato-y with a light dash of fresh herbs. And there was the right amount of cheese. It had just enough fat to make us feel full and satisfied. Best of all, our pizza cost less than Buddy's or Little Caesar's. Highly recommended!”

“I really like the Beer Depot as a source for beer. The selection is tremendous, with lots of local beers and ales, lots of beers from smaller breweries around the US, and a good variety of international beers. The wine selection is a little weak, but then again, it's the Beer Depot, not the wine and beer depot. It's also conveniently located right in town. It has a micro parking area, which has always been adequate for me (that is, I've always been able to find a spot). I have not explored their selection of liquors. It seems OK.”

“I’d been searching all over A2 for a specific item, but no one carried it. I decided to try A&L after hearing they have a great and unique selection. Unfortunately, they didn’t carry the item, but I spoke with Jorgo and he was so nice! He took the time to check with his vendor to see if they had the item. Turns out they carry all four flavors! Jorgo placed a special order for me and it took less than a week to arrive. When I picked up the order, I tried to leave a tip, but it was refused even after my order was carried out to my car.
