The check out lines were so long I put my groceries back and went to a smaller grocery down the road … prices are higher but no line and they keep the milk stocked….

Kroger is, at least in the Plymouth Rd. Ann Arbor location, the biggest gouger for prices I have ever seen. Food items are ridiculously priced!! Non-food items enter the realm of the absurd. After Kroger decided to redo the entire store they apparently thought the only people shopping there were living in the super rich new developments in the area. Reality Check. Middle Plymouth road is mostly an old poverty area of Ann Arbor. Students on North Campus also need a reasonably priced grocery store with items they want. Not counting the retired community. Not one cashier. I think we should organize a picket line on the sidewalk to draw attention to this rip off! Check out the owner of the strip center first. How about a "gouge" sticker next to the price on the shelf. No wonder the city wants to build high rises up and down North Plymouth Road. They are all in cahoots!

Reasonably good variety of items and prices.Quality of produce is generally poor compared to competitors like Aldi.Self-checkout has been a mess for months and only recently has improved.

They have 36 self check out counters and use 6 of them even though there are lines 100+ shoppers long. I’ve never seen a store so poorly run. Shop here at your absolute last resort.

Its a Kroger. I gotta say the donuts I got from the bakery were delicious. The aisles seemed to be organized fairly well and I appreciate the Asian frozen cuisine available. That makes this one particularly decent. ?

They (and probably other Krogers too) like to put price tags in yellow to make you think you’re getting a deal out of something that is just retail price. They also like to put up member deal prices (yellow tag + red numbers) on products and when you get to the register, you are just charged the regular price. Also high staff turnover rate and employees do not seem happy working there. Go to Trader Joe’s or something for your food. Go here if you need a toilet brush or something like that.

Kind of ridiculous that on a mildly busy Saturday morning they have two blocks of self check out turned off while the lines are spanning a full isle back.Generally the store is fine, but this was a really poor management situation.

the service desk is there to help but with a bad attitude towards customers who have concerns? when i needed help she brushed me off and walked away and i waited over 20 minutes for her to tell me the service desk was ultimately closed. keirsten refused to answer my questions about when the appropriate time to come back would be instead she mumbled something under her breathe and walked away. if kroger strives for a display of good customer service you won’t find it at this store. they’re low staff and the staff they have there are UNHELPFUL AND RUDE.

Shopping at the Plymouth Rd store in Ann Arbor. Chelsea in Deli was the fastest staff, I was in and out in no time, very professional, it was great not to have a long wait. The check out staff were also very friendly.I tried to tell the manager, she had a long line of people. A bit frustrating they don't do something about people hanging outside with signs begging for money.

Good location near North Campus. I stop here occasionally on my way home as it’s very busy in the afternoons and the store seems a lot more crowded inside with narrower aisles than other Kroger locations. There is a lot of parking but the lot can get crowded depending on the time of day as there are other businesses.

This Kroger recently began posting misleading signs which hide the retail price of their items. The "Price with Digital Coupon" is shown in big numbers, but the actual retail price is completely blocked by the black bar sleeve holding the sign. Because of this, I was charged $5 more on my grocery bill than I was expecting. Many customers will not notice and will end up paying much higher grocery bills. I have not seen this kind of misleading practice in other stores, so I felt it was important to share my experience with this store so customers can decide for themselves whether they want to risk being tricked by a sneaky marketing strategy. I will shop there less frequently than before, but if this signage is fixed to display the retail price very clearly, then I will take down this review and continue my normal shopping habits.*** Update 7/3/23: Not only has this location not fixed their price signs (after I talked to customer service about it), they've actually DOUBLED DOWN on the malicious trickery. In the Cherries photo, it clearly says "$2.99lb with card" on the big sign, but this ONLY applies if you have the digital coupon, although the big sign does not specify this. A smaller sign mentions this, and even smaller is the actual price of $4.99. If it isn't clear that this is confusing and tricking consumers, I watched a man spend 10 minutes being confused at the register about needing to download the Kroger app (and give away his personal data) just to qualify for what he thought was the regular retail price of his items while I checked out speedily next to him.Just think for a moment about how many people are not noticing that they're paying a lot more for items than they originally think. If this store's business model relies on tricking its consumers, it's a place that consumers should avoid, even if that means driving a few more minutes to a different grocery store. Do not shop here.

I have been using this shop in this location for over twenty years. The range of goods has grown and the service has deteriorated significantly. often there is no one in the customer service in the morning and evening hours. There are no price tags on many vegetables, fruits and berries. there is never dill in this store, although it is sold in other branches of Kroger. Conclusion: poor management and organization of business
