“My party of two ordered the hamburger with cole slaw, and salmon with spinach and mashed potatoes, along with a bread basket. All were very good. The staff was very attentive, but not overly so. I look forward to returning in the near future.”

“Everything is great in this Boutique Hotel ..but they need to have an outdoor pool! The restaurant is Awesome & get a room with indoor pool view, the spiral staircase is pretty cool!”

“A really great hotel. Beds were super comfortable (although having a mix of soft and firm pillows would've been much appreciated). Room was spacious. No ambient noises from other guests or from traffic. Pool was nice though a tad on the chilly side. Breakfast was quite good. I appreciated they had some gluten-free options as well as milk substitutes. WiFi was a bit on the slow side. Close to lots of things. A really great stay.”

“Nearby activities: Loved the convenience to campus, restaurant, movies.

Safety: Never had to give a thought about safety.

Walkability: We walked everywhere and, next to the fantastic staff considered it the biggest reason while we will only stay at the Bell Tower.”

“We were in town for graduation and stayed with Fairfield. The location, staff, and breakfast were fantastic. The format of the rooms was a little tight, but adequate. I’m not sure if they are all the same or if we just happened to get a smaller room due to the tight availability graduation weekend.”

“Place was really nice for the price! Front desk staff was very nice. The only problem was, the cleaning staff in the morning. They were ridiculously loud starting at 8am. Talking (Yelling) at each other and slamming doors throwing things. No reason to have a 12 O'clock check out when the cleaning service makes sure you're up by 8!”

“Loved just about everything about the place. It is on the top (4th) floor of the League right next door to Hill Auditorium on the UM campus. There is an elevator. In an older bldg, the price was right (180.00/night includ. tax) and included tea/coffee all day and a mini breakfast starting at 8PM. The breakfast was juice, yogurt and package bagels with cream cheese. Would really be nice to have a toaster. The room and bed was comfy but would have liked a toilet lid, I was always afraid I would accidentally drop something in the toilet. The reception desk is manned by student workers. Would stay there again.”

“Great stay! Rooms were clean and modern. Comfortable bed. The first nite I stayed on the 2nd floor above the pool and it got a little warm. Not a big deal it was chilly out. Woke up and had the complimentary breakfast which for a hotel was pretty good. They served eggs, bacon, roller, cereal, pancakes that came out of a machine (pretty cool) but ot like mom makes. It was quit and locate about 15 minutes form ann arbor. Close to grocery stores and gas gas stations. I did opt.for a first floor room the second nite. Overall I had a great stay and would recommend staying.”

“Very helpful staff, they gave me a room with a great view during my final exams in 2020 when the heat went out at my apartment. This hotel has a very walkable location and one of the most unique hotel lobbies I have ever seen. I would recommend staying here whenever possible. Comfortable and Quiet.”

“I stayed for a few days in late June, 2023. My room was clean & beautiful. I wish that I was staying longer & I'll definitely be back. I don't understand why people complain so much about things that do not matter, i.e. foods provided for FREE at their breakfast grab 'n go counter. The location, friendly service & price cannot be beat! Many thanks to the manager, check-in & check-out staff, as well as housekeeping! ALL of the staff bent over backwards to ask if I needed anything, how my stay was going, etc. The nicest people of any place I've stayed at for many, many years.BTW - I loved your soap so much that I've ordered 25 bars of it through amazon!”

“First off, we got quoted $140 for 2 bed suite.
Upon check in, somehow name got changed, and we not told this was going to happen! All because of a simple member number? So I did not bring my ID or anything, because everything was in my husband name… Finally the rude front desk man said, “I guess I can add a name” after 30 mins later
Secondly, we finally got settled in, and seen why we got charged more, we didn’t need a kitchen!!!
Thirdly, we got to pool, had to call for towels, he brings them after rolling his eyes when he seen it was me I guess,
Later that night, another guest called for towels, NEVER CAME! There was 15 people in pool……
Then it’s 10:55 we are almost leaving our room, maid comes and knocks, “oh you need more time”? But with an attitude!, Me: Do you have a little bag for wet clothing, do you have one?? NO I DON’T… Me: I guess this hotel doesn’t have trash bags, just like they don’t have body wash in the shower? Because that was empty unpin checking in….

Pros: Pool area fabulous!!! Besides no towels
Pros: Breakfast was amazing

Cons: Front desk service could be better
Cons: Housekeeping could be better”

“Very nice and impeccably clean room with apt size fridge, full size dishwasher, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, and an electric cooktop. Hallways were clean and smelled nice. Friendly staff. Good Internet and huge desk for traveling workers. Great location, lots of nearby shopping, restaurants, and highways.”

“We booked a 2 "Bedroom"/2 Bath. They lay out is a small living room/kitchen, room w/ 2 queen beds and private bath, and an upstairs loft w/ a king and bath.Pros: The living area was barely big enough for a small full air mattress we brought. Kitchen was clean and had full fridge, paper towels, plates/pots/utensils. Beds/bedding clean and comfortable.Cons: The stairs and certain areas in the bedrooms had not been vacuumed. There was someone else's hair in the showers and bathroom floors. Corners had cobwebs. Ceiling fan was really dusty so we never turned it on. Walls were cracking/old. When we asked for extra bedding...they only had sheets and not blanket. Pool was not open (But assume that is still for Covid reasons.) The common outdoor walkways/stairs were really dirty with lots of cobwebs. This is definitely more of a motel at premium hotel prices bc of the location. This was our first time stay and had reservations for Parents weekend...which we have cancelled.”

“It wasn't a planned visit, however, given my situation and financial position at the time, they were amazing and very accommodating especially when I had to extend my checkout in order to get the money transferred to pay for each day almost. I stayed for over a week and I didn't have one issue with them waiting for me to pay until 2-3pm sometimes! They were great, patient, extremely professional and helpful and I will definitely be visiting again soon!”

“Family of six stayed January 1, 20 25 the suite we had was very cozy andLovely.
The rooms were very clean when we arrived, and they had a extra pillow and extra blankets.
We enjoy our breakfast as well. The staff there was very attentive, and they kept replenishing all the food in the area.
The location is great right next to 94 and shopping centers around the area as well and convenience stores.

Thank you guys so much for a great service. We will be definitely back very soon!”

“Rooms are a bit outdated. Staff does not seem to care about speedy service. First room tv did not work they kept saying someone was coming, finally we called and they gave us another room. It is cleaner than expected.”
