UPDATE #2: Framed and now hanging in its place of honor. We are pleased with how it looks. They stood by their work and remade the frame.
UPDATE #1: I am certain, that a mistake like this is unlikely to happen again in the near future. Staff and procedures have been scrutinized and measures employed to ensure this doesn't happen again. Hence, the power of the public review.
I will update and adjust stars once a resolution has been reached.

First of all, I am an artist and have been framing artwork for years. It’s always overpriced and at close to $700 this is laughably bad. You do not get a second chance here. We were attempting to hang the piece, (A gift for my partner from a world renowned local artist) and it wouldn’t support its own weight. Now, I have to make another trip to the store, deal with an employee and wait for a correction. I will not be framing any of my work here. My customers expect quality.

They have bona fide artists on staff who offer great advice on selecting mattes and frames. They definitely enhance the process.

I’ve never been to a frame store before and the wall full of endless options felt daunting to me - until the fabulous sales associate Emily helped me navigate through the many details of how to customize my frame for my diploma. She was kind, knowledgeable, and guided me in the right direction without being overbearing and still letting me learn/pick for myself. Emily made the experience enjoyable! I came into the store with an art piece that I wanted help getting framed. Lindsey, the store associate not only helped me select a frame, but assembled the project into the frame and cleaned the glass afterward. She did this in all about 10 minutes, as I told her I needed something immediately. She provided prompt, curteous, and exceptional service. I highly recommend this locally owned store for your framing needs. The staff know their products and how to choose a frame that accentuates your artwork or photo very tastefully.

I brought in a very unique framing project to them, and Lindsey was very excited to take charge and find a solution. She worked with me to understand and find a creative solution. I'm very impressed with the results. I had a few other pieces framed there as well, and it is really high quality work.
