I find the music is too loud especially if you're walking by the Mac counter, because they play there own music so it mixes in with the store music making it way too loud and overwhelming

This is the Macy's I shop at in the Detroit area! Great selection of clothes, shoes, jewelry and more! Nice staff and just overall a great store!

I bought a mattress and split box spring set on February 4, 2023. The delivery was arranged for February 14. Macy's only sent one-half of the box spring set. They never communicated a problem until the delivery vendor got to my door. A second delivery was scheduled for February 23. They deny scheduling the delivery even though I have the original email confirmation email. They refuse to compensate me for the inconvenience for missing the second delivery scheduled. They are having me wait until March 9, 2023 for delivery on the box spring. I will never be back for anything. They are the new Sears. I would give them a Zero if I could.

I want to praise Elaine especially for excellent service on Jan. 18 2023. I had a complicated return and Elaine demonstrated determination, patience, and great knowledge of "the system" there on the computer to complete the return. Most of all, she kept her good humor and friendliness even though the situation was a headache. She could have announced "It just isn't doable" at any time and I wouldn't have known the difference. Thank you, Elaine, for your outstanding service! I want to add that both my mom and I always find something lovely at Macy's. In all departments, the selection is excellent, and the store is pleasant and kept in good order. I really hope these "department stores" survive. They provide one-stop shopping, employ locally, and offer great sales. They are also up on trends - young people should check Macy's out!

I was disappointed and offended the lady sat there doing nothing refused to assist us until she felt like it. They was rude at checkout didn't want to find merchandise. The store wasn't restocked with all clothing sizes the cashier's were not very friendly or accommodating. Macy's need to do better for there customers or they will lose people. I definitely will not get a Macy's card customers are treated poorly.

The lady sold me some women shoes I went back two days later to return them and the same lady was there she said I could not return them cause I wore them once so you guys lost a customer

I had purchased a tommy bahama sweater for my brother 10/30 for christmas. Unfortunately, the shirt did not fit, and he had already removed the tags, including the inside tag, as it was scratchy, and he was excited to wear it. I tried to return for store credit this weekend. I had my upc number, and the evidence of purchase on my iphone. Customer service sent me to men's wear, after telling me "I don't know what to do with this." Then, at Men's wear, they told me that it was too late to address (even though the web said I had until 2/1/2022 to return, as the tags were removed, and "Macy's would lose a profit. " I have been an excellent customer for 25 years, never missed a payment, and registered for my wedding there. They treated me poorly, and would not even offer a store credit. I am giving the beautiful sweater away to another family member. I will not be shopping there again, and Macy's will lose profit from me.

Macy's offers excellent selection of clothing, shoes, cosmetics, handbags, jewellery and household goods. Its great store with lots of sales and deals. It's my go to place to get really good quality items on sale. This store is bright, clean and well lit. I usually enter the mall through this entrance. Safety protocols in place and felt safe shopping in-store. They have amazing cosmetics counters for different brands. Associates were always willing to help in the cosmetics section. It's difficult to get help in other sections which is normal for Macy's. Some brands doesn't fit like common sizes. After covid I do most of my shopping online. I feel it's easier and convenient, also get good deals. Their sales often include phenomenal values.

Macy's is totally giving up on its retail stores. Today I found the men's department an absolute mess. Clothes looked like they were just dumped. More clothes in piles then were actually folded. Looked like a third-world market. Not kidding. A sad loss to the days when they had people to help you and merchandise was presentable.

My gateway to the mall, as usual. It's cozy and comfortable and familiar. There are Bentley's parked at Von Maur. Middle of the road cars by Macy's. It's not too busy at Macy's. Easy to browse and look around.

Worst service ever! My infirm mom needed shoes. She wanted my mom who walks with aides to bring shoes back and forth from register so she could put them in back storage. Employee was hunched down behind register the whole time on her phone. She wouldn't help at all!! I blame Macy's and manager of shoe depart. for keeping this employee. I have been a customer of Macy's for almost forty years and today cut up my Macy's card. Never going there again. Just absolutely dreadful attitude of employee towards customer!
