Do yourself a favor and don't ever let your money get into one of these accounts. Accessing it and rolling it over is impossible - they clearly make it intentionally difficult.

Soon after we retired, we approached Nate from the Fidelity AA office, intending to buy 2 large (relative to our modest nest egg) annuities. Nate politely talked with (not pressured) us about this and our overall retirement plan in order to get a clear understanding of our request and needs. He confirmed the reasonableness of our plan, which added to our confidence in doing this. And he did so without pressuring us to hire Fidelity to develop and execute a plan for us. Nate also explained to us that ILO of the S-T annuity a CD ladder would be a better substitute, since at the time CD rates were in the 4.5 to 4.9% range. He then explained to us how the CD-ladder works.Since these were big (to us) transactions they required a lot of paperwork and procedures on and outside of our Fidelity account. Some of these steps were complicated and not fully clear to us. Craig on Nate’s team did an outstanding job of guiding me through these steps in order to ensure our large annuities and CD-Ladders were purchased as we intended and with the optional riders that were valuable to us. He politely and thoroughly answered our questions. Both Nate and Craig seemed to be straight-shooters who did not pressure us or attempt to sell us products or services we didn’t request or need.

Fidelity panic sold its entire tesla position at 104 dollars a share. The fund mgr thought it was a video game and most likely only knows charts and graphs and all the other junk science involved in the junk science of finance. End result, Fidelities largest and most popular mutual fund lost a considerable amount of real money for all of its investors that will not return. Any and every fundamental study of Tesla indicated the rundown was a bunch of kids switching back and forth between their brokerage software and Minecraft or Call f Duty. All of their insight comes from the digital world with no connection to the tangible physical world we live in.

I worked with Craig Calvin on my yearly review of my retirement goals. He was excellent and took the time to answer all my questions, while also being patient to listen to my concerns as I relayed them in layman's terms. Would definitely go back to him again !

Company failed to show solid support from day one. My children were in college and we asked for a checking account be opened so that they could cover college expenses. Instead, the agent opened retirement accounts for the children. Lots of work to fix that mess.Previously, I transferred an IRA into Fidelity. The advisor soon after transferred out or quit. I sat on a lot of cash losing interest. I was going to move out and was offered some cash not to move my funds. They kept changing my advisors. When I filed a complaint against them, they closed my account forcing me to find another company to invest with. That impacted my family and caused stress. However, moving to another company turned out to be a gift since I now have great financial advisers.

The place is sparkling clean, with gleaming floors. Beverages and candy in a nice lobby area are offered to those who have to wait. I came in after 11:00 am on a Friday and had no wait. There was only one gentleman working at the front desk. I came in to renew a debit card which was completed with some amount of steps and question asking. I also came in to apply for a Fidelity credit card. That's where it all kind of went downhill. I won't name names because it's not that important, but the gentleman working at the front desk basically wasn't trained in explaining the credit card at all. He only hesitantly answered my questions based off of his personal experience with the card. Apparently, Fidelity credit cards are done through a third party, even though it has Fidelity branding on it. So I guess none of their employees are trained in how to explain this particular credit card. It's not the end of the world, but in a competing world where I am offered/sold/begged to sign up for credit cards by mail and in banks and retail stores every day, I expected better from Fidelity. I already had my heart sold on the card based off of what I needed the card to do for me and my lifestyle, but I had some gray area questions that needed to be answered by a person who was knowledgeable about the card, not from reading off a website. I expected Fidelity, with its investment advisers and credibility as a banking institution, would be able to explain and answer some relatively simple personal questions about their own credit card. This was important to me, because the other unfortunate thing about this bank was that they have limited business hours. So actually, I had to call off work and come in to ask said questions that were not confidently answered. Fidelity's lack of business hours on the weekend really forced me to do it over the week when I should have been working. So, you can imagine my disappointment when the person at the front desk couldn't really answer my questions, then told me to apply for the credit card online, and not here at the bank. He said I could get a cash bonus offer if I applied online and not through their actual bank. Again, what a disappointment, because I could have just done that myself and not wasted time going into their building in the first place. This by far pales in comparison to when I go to Chase or other banking institutions where I can do EVERYTHING while talking to a human being who can explain and answer every financial query I have, and give recommendations personalized based off of my financial lifestyle. I also appreciate not just having things explained to me, but being able to do it all with one person so that I don't have to go home and do it. Like I mentioned before, this didn't change my decision with Fidelity's credit card because I already did my research before walking into the building itself. But I really feel like I wasted my day. And the service I received was disappointing for something so basic. I mean, the sales people at Kohls are better at explaining their credit cards than Fidelity is! With that being said, i'm not sure if my guy at my counter was getting flustered because a bunch of people came in after me around noon and were waiting. In fact, he never smiled or showed any emotion at all. He answered things to the best of his ability professionally, but I'd recommend Fidelity to better think through their training better. I was dropped like a hot potato when he told me just to go online. I've received way better and helpful service through my other banking institutions. Have we lost the art of human interaction? i=I'm not sure. Seems like this Fidelity branch has.

Craig Calvin of Ann Arbor Fidelity was exceptionally helpful during my recent visits. He is very knowledgeable and described in detail my options with regard to setting up my investment portfolio. He was very considerate and did not make me feel rushed. I would highly recommend him as an Investment Consultant. Marguerite Raymond

Friendly and helpful. I scheduled an appointment at this office over the phone and I was placed with Craig. He was very patient with all my worries and questions. He did a very good job educating me in diversifying long term investments, the difference between mutual funds and EFTs, and the cost of investing certain ways.

We've been clients of this office for the past three years. They've been very helpful in financial and retirement planning without the routine high pressure sales pitches for high cost in-house services.

My two brothers and I and a bunch of inheritance paperwork to fill out. We walked into Fidelity and Allison Daniels greeted us in a very professional and friendly manner. Then she jumped right in and start helping for us. All we had to do is sign the paperwork where required. What a great experience we all had this morning. :)

extremely unprofessional service- requested a rollover form from another employer sponsored company; filled and faxed form as represented instructed. Apparently fidelity only received 2/4 pages of fax, was never notified. No accountability, terrible company.
