My wife and I are updating our 100+ year old home, removing wooden shutters in two rooms that had been in place for 25 years. We were interested in Hunter Douglas blinds. Many years ago, Delux previously installed blinds for us in other rooms.
Though we shopped around this time, we called Delux - again. Others are informed and competent and mostly quote comparable prices, but our experience has taught us that it's important to have access to post installation support when investing in quality blinds. Delux has reliably helped us with a rare repair or adjustment over the past many years,
a comprehensive service that matters.
Lulu visited our home for this project with an encyclopedic knowledge of window treatment options, catalogues and color samples, but more importantly, with solid decorating taste, a real eye for color and great judgment. She's not afraid to offer a thoughtful opinion. We had two rooms with subtly different trim colors and her recommendations were flawless. We would not hesitate to ask Lulu back for any decorating challenge in the future.
Delux did everything they promised, on time and competently. Installation was expeditious and perfect. It's a comfort knowing that they're there for support when needed. We heartily recommend Delux and especially Lulu!

When we called Delux Drapery for insight into how to repair the 20+ year old vertiglide blinds in the house we recently purchased, one of the family members drove directly to our home that very afternoon and repaired all of them within less than an hour at a very reasonable rate. To say we were shocked and delighted is an understatement:). We look forward to being loyal, future clients and will highly recommend them to others!!

Corrine is a joy to work with and since I lack any kind of ability to match colors or choosing designs, her wealth of knowledge makes it so easy for me. Once your order is in, install is done quickly and professionally. Valances both wood and custom material; custom wood shades for odd shaped windows, and blinds.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with the people at Delux Drapery and Shade. We were met with informed, helpful, and pleasant folks when we visited the store, just to look at window coverings for our home. That easily led to having a design person come out with samples. Corrine helped us choose duettes and screen shades that work perfectly and achieved the look we wanted. Jason did terrific work installing the shades. Wonderful experience from start to finish.

I'd been living with make-do window coverings for far too long. This year I finally took the plunge and had Delux Drapery make and install "Duette" shades on eleven windows.
I love them!
The one the living and dining rooms are light-filtering, so they have a pleasant glow during the day even when closed. In the bedroom we ordered the light-blocking version, and now it stays restfully dark until we open them.
We ordered most of them so they can be opened from either the top or the bottom. That's a nice option.
Delux Drapery's staff was a pleasure to work with, and the measuring, ordering, and the installation went perfectly.
Highly recommended!

Deluxdrapery was an excellent choice for us when we needed to replace our 30 year old drapes. The selection of materials and colors was excellent. Measurement appointment was timely and well done and the installer did an excellent job of installing the new drapes. The color we choose could not have been better and the quality of the final product was more than satisfactory. This company is an old and established company located inAnn. Arbor and we highly recommend them.

We had to replace 30 year old vertical blinds in our living room but couldn't find anything of quality in the big box stores. Our cat can't deal with curtains or other blinds. Only vertical blinds let him access the window without getting into serious feline mischief. Fortunately, Deluxe Drapery carried the quality blinds we were looking for. They did a great job explaining the product and Corrine came to the house to measure our windows and was very helpful in showing us the many samples of designs/patterns available for the vanes. We found exactly what we were looking for. The blinds were ready for delivery before we had finished updating the floors and walls in our living room. Thankfully, Deluxe Drapery was very accommodating and delayed the installation so we could finish. Jason did a great job on the installation and we could not be happier with the result. Thank you Deluxe Drapery (and our cat thanks you too!) for a great job and a great product!

We put in shades in a new townhome and have been very happy with them after 2 years. The service was good and the products very good. Happy to recommend them. Might be a bit more than big stores or chain store in area but might be worth it.

Delux Drapery and Shade has earned the distinction as my favorite business in town. This group goes way above and beyond in their delivery of quality products and services. Last time I visited, I couldn’t find a solution to the light streaming through my large windows in the bedroom at night. One business offered to sell me heavy drapes that would block our scenic back yard view (>$4,000) and I said “no thanks”. Delux ( Linda and Steve) suggested PERFECT black out shades at less than half the cost and they fully retract during the day. That was last time…….This time we had a couple of damaged wooden blinds. One upstairs and one downstairs. The place they were purchased is out of business. These shades are on every window in our house so we are not keen on a full replacement for three slats. ????. Delux Drapery to the rescue!!!! Who else?? I’ll tell you… no one else…. They repaired the blinds and the expense was too small to post. Lulu helped us. No more broken blinds. Perfect repair. Thousands of $$ not spent. Enduring Gratitude earned!!I highly recommend that you rely on this local business for your blinds, drapery and other related needs!!!
