Norton Flowers & Gifts was delivering a special bouquet to be presented to a retiring staff member. The challenge was that it was being delivered to a dormitory on UM's central campus, and on a Saturday morning no less! When the delivery woman arrived, we couldn't find anyone in the building yet to open the door and I was still at home located north of campus. While I talked her through it on the phone, she walked around to the dorm's side door off the garden and put the flowers in a corner of the terrace where no one would see them. (I finally did get someone in the building, and they came out and brought the flowers inside.) This message is written both to say that the bouquet was gorgeous and to compliment the delivery woman on her resourcefulness!

They always answer the phone!!! No waiting for a computer to tell you they are busy. I am always pleased with the service and the records they keep. I don’t have to go through all the repeating addresses and phone numbers. Thank you for remembering me from year to year. ❤️

I bought a plant for Valentine's Day. You'd think that they would make sure their stock was in tiptop shape for that holiday. The potted plant I bought was dry and lightweight and a bit wilty. I bought it anyway and revived it at home. I was really surprised at the lack of attention to this kind of detail especially when the potted plants are about 40% more costly than similar ones elsewhere. During the same visit, another customer bought roses. They did not look great to me.

What an absolute rip off this place is. $120 for 2.5 hydrangea balls, a lily stem and 4 roses. Id' rather my husband save his money instead of going to this place again. How disappointing considering this was an anniversary gift.

I called at 8am to make sure my wife got her surprise delivered to her work. Well she didn't get the rose's and didn't get her surprise so here we are going to pick up her flowers ourselves what a bummer.

I wanted to send a friend who lives locally in Ann Arbor some beautiful flowers (I live in the PNW)- I also like to shop locally so Norton's was a perfect choice. I ordered online and I quickly checked out for same-day shipping. I called the shop to make sure that the flowers were indeed going to be able to deliver that day. I spoke to a lovely employee on the phone and she told me that the flowers had already gone out for delivery! Excellent service and beautiful flowers :). Come here and shop local- you could go to an online flower company but you won't get friendly service and the ability to help your community!

Beautiful work by such a kind lady! I came in not knowing what I wanted and within minutes she left me with the sweetest bouquet and at a great price. Would highly recommend their flowers and staff to anyone!

so good! I moved from Ann Arbor several years ago and really wanted to send some special flowers to a dear friend. I called "an old friend "Nortons flowers. They were fantastic. Smart, savvy, completely followed up on my suggestions for a selection of flowers for a get well bouquet. they did everything you would want a good florist to do and they delivered the flowers and a timely fashion and my friend loves them. And she needs get well flowers!!! when you can't be there in person, use Norton's florist. They make it so personal!!! thank you. outstanding

Norton did a bad job on my latest order but they had handled several earlier ones satisfactorily so I'm giving them three stars. I ordered flowers to be sent for Mother's Day to my mother's grave at Forest Hill Cemetery in Ann Arbor. The clerk told me that they would email me a photo. After Mother's Day, there was no photo so I checked to find out why. The store told me that the clerk had entered the request in the wrong place on the order so the arranger didn't see it. "Sorry" is all they said. I was very disappointed at the failure to send the photo as promised and also at the pathetic response, as if the failure to keep their promise didn't matter.
