Worst Chase branch I've ever been to. Most Chase branches have really good customer service but they're just rude here.

A branch manager can set the tone for a local bank, even when it's part of a giant financial system like Chase. Unfortunately, Amy Sobas has made it difficult for her team at the Plymouth Road branch to treat customers with personal care. In my case, both of my parents died early in the pandemic. When a tax lien was erroneously levied against my account this year, Ms. Sobas explained that I had failed to send their death certificates to all of the right places. Instead, I had only brought the certificates to her branch. Now I know! I should have submitted them to Chase Mortgage and Decedent Processing as well. Then I should have advised my branch to remove my parents from the account. Ms. Sobas not only taught me this important lesson, but she also showed me that it's time to change banks. Her failure to offer compassion or assistance cost me weeks of worry and effort. Fortunately, the Michigan Department of Treasury came to the rescue! (There's a phrase I never expected to utter!) It was easier to get help from the tax authority than from bankers down the street.

It’s very disturbing how an organization of this magnitude, an enormous financial institution, has staff working for it that are pretty much clueless, uninformed and incompetent. Jennifer and the head manager should be much more organized and have firm and clear answers for clients. It seems like the best solution is to push you out of the door because they have no idea what they are doing. Will the corporate or administrative levels of this banking giant approve of this lack of customer service?

Not actually open. Chase leaves a bunch of bank listings on google maps to appear like the service the area. But they are all abandoned buildings without working atms.

Great people. But...I have been trying to wire money to my brother and the wired funds have been reversed each time, despite personal help at the bank.Today I contacted customer services (Ohio?) and I was kept waiting a long time. Two people tried to help me but they did not have the information and kept transferring me to other staff. I planned to transfer more funds to Chase. I now feel discouraged. No explanation why or suggestions on how to fix the problem with wire transfers.

Sibel met us on a Monday and took care of our immediate needs as well as setting up another visit to take care of some tedious work to get my teenagers account going. She was wonderful with all specially the young ones and very patient. Great to have bankers like that in Ann Arbor!

Worst customer service ever experienced with a bank. They try to sell you one of their products every time you go into their branch. I even dread going in there for the littlest of things like making a deposit.
