“Mimi's was my first and only bridal appointment and I couldn't be happier. We tried on a TON of different beautiful dresses in my first appointment and it felt super efficient yet still really thoughtful. Nadine was my bridal consultant and she was just AMAZING! She knew exactly what to pull from my description and actually nailed it with the first dress! She was also super accomodating with my bilingual family who was there with me. I would absolutely recommend making an appointment with her! The owner, Yvette is there listening and making suggestions and you can feel the decades of experience in the room with her. Our appointments always end in hugs I couldn't recommend Mimi's more!”
“I saw rave reviews all over Reddit about this shop and their support projects for families affected by cancer in the Ann Arbor community. I live in nearby Plymouth — so there’s no shortage of bridal shops. Really didn’t want to buy new because it can be wasteful and expensive for something you’ll only wear once. Also prefer that my money and the large purchases I do choose to make will get a second life helping someone access the treatment and care they deserve.
I came in on Saturday October 12th for a consultation and fitting with my bridesmaids after making an appt by phone. Heidi was knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Super practical advice, listened to what we were planning and helped us find a ton of great dresses that fit my size, situation, and budget.
I am still blown away by the selection they had and would send anyone looking for a dress over there in a heartbeat. The dress I found is something that would have been completely out of my budget if I purchased it new, and it was so well made that it was in near pristine condition. We saw dresses that originally cost $20k, $13k, $9k, etc. Tons of designer tags if you care about that sort of thing, they had just about everything you can imagine and they had a lot of inventory of different sizes available. They have two in-house tailors for alterations and Heidi gave me their contacts and instructions on how to schedule alterations.
The fact that my purchase will go to someone’s cancer support is why I went in the first place — but with the quality and selection they had and the level of service they offered, I would not have guessed that they were a charity first. This place is THE spot to find a wedding dress in 2024. Kudos to this group for being amazing and seamless in all aspects of what they do.”
“Wonderful selection and great service! Bailey was friendly, knowledgeable and very patient as I loved so many of the rings it was hard for me to choose just one! Highly recommend Arcadian antiques and hope to collect more of their treasures over the years❤️”
“Love this shop! A2 doesn’t have a lot of options for women’s clothing, but this place is wonderful. The clothes are unique and unfussy. The store is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff has always been nothing but kind to my friends and I. Their instagram material is wonderful as well.”

415 N 5th Ave, Ann Arbor“Located above Found and in Kerrytown Marketplace & Shops, V2V is a very cute predominantly clothing store. There are so many aesthetic pieces here, but it is definitely extremely pricey, so keep that in mind as you check out the store. I've actually never bought clothing pieces from here. Instead, I've bought several cute prints, plates & cups from here & they are all such great quality.”
“I discovered this business about six months ago and quickly FELL in LOVE. This place, and these multi-
talented tailors are one of my happiest finds of this year! The first thing you'll note as you walk inside; floor-to-ceiling windows and natural light. Cheerful spaciousness. This kind of environment is optimal in lending itself to the mind and creativity of an artist. Meet the artists: Natasha and Yelena. They are smiling, friendly, and kind. They are like seamstresses of haute couture and bring their unique Eastern European perspective to sewing and tailoring. When I was growing up my mom used to take particular items, like hers or my dad's suits, clothes that required a higher level of sewing skill, to a Polish seamstress named Anna. She lived near us and worked from her home. My mother could sew, but certain things required a more advanced knowledge. While others said they, too, could tailor or do the job for less, my mother said it was not the same and always took her special things to Anna, who had a particular, a certain way of knowing and sewing, that others simply could not 'see.' I feel Natasha and Yelena are like this. I have brought several garments to these extraordinarily talented people. I've had hems and sleeves taken-up, waists and pant legs taken-in or let-out, sides taken-in or out, pockets mended or entirely removed for a smoother look, jeans made right which required removing, then restitching to perfection, the classic blue jean 'double stitch.' Name it, they've done it. Everytime it's like adding a new piece to my wardrobe, only better, because now, it's custom. We all have something really cool hanging in our closet or folded away in a dresser drawer. An older garment (or maybe not so old), but still classy or 'on trend.' We hang on, saying we'll wear it again someday, but, for now, the waist is too big, or too tight, or something's off. A 'one of a kind' near-impossible to duplicate item, we put away, our mind continuing to keen toward that, 'one day in the future' thought. But, now, now, you learn your special garment can be custom fit to your unique specifications and body contours. Like a great haircut, custom-fit clothes DO have the tendency to make you feel a bit more confident. You walk a little taller, straighter, lighter, flow a bit better. Everything old is new again. It's a whole new day and everything's about to change and feel a little more right in your world. At Elegant Tailoring - I've found that QUALITY and CUSTOMER SATISFACTION is the goal. They mix/match/fix/custom-fit nearly anything you present. They examine all factors and troubleshoot and puzzle it out from every angle. They will also be straight with you if they feel the cost might not be worth it, or might prove too much to pass on to you. They are experienced, honest and meticulous. I get excited everytime I pick up my garments and can't wait to slip them on. Garments that these fine tailors tweak and make perfect. And their turnaround time, their prices, are so VERY reasonable. Over the years I've tried and experienced many other places in town. But none compare to the quality and attention to detail, let alone the incredibly reasonable prices, of this place and these tailors. Truly, one of my happiest finds. Elegant Tailoring and the Elegant and Artistic Tailors, Natasha and Yelena, are thee BEST in Washtenaw County!”
“I truly had the best experience at Beloved Bridal! All the girls are so sweet and you’ll literally want to be friends with them after your appointment! Chelsea specifically went above and beyond. Going into my appointment I had never tried on dresses before and was so unsure of what I wanted. She helped me create a vision then brought it to life. I’m so grateful and couldn’t recommend them more!”
