We had to put down our sweet baby today. The people were so kind and so patient with us. They explained everything that was going to happen. Although we're deeply saddened, we're also immensely grateful to all of the people at Bluepearl for treating us and our kitty with compassion and respect. Thank you.
I have to write a second review. BluePearl just sent us a personal sympathy card with employees' thoughts and signatures. It deeply touched our hearts. So thoughtful and kind. God bless all of you.

Very long wait due to being understaffed (which I totally get) but the customer service and understanding were impeccable. The staff took great care of my furbaby and I appreciate their help.

I was upset I could not remain with my cat during examination. When examination did happen I could hear my cat came crying very loud. I opened the door of the room I was waiting in and asked if that was my cat and the lady said yes. My sadness turned to anger. When I checked out all I got was a receipt showing the medication and cost. No detail of the examination findings. I had to call and ask for them to email it to me. Not a great experience. I will the Doctor was knowledgeable and thorough.

Only emergency vet that answered the phone after pushing one button, was so very nice at check-in, the vet was completely sympathetic telling my dog had cancer and wasn’t likely to make it through the weekend. I took my dog there because I didn’t know if he was dying or not, and my concern was never about the cost. They were there through the whole euthanasia process and made us feel comforted in our time of need and uncertainty. Would take my pets there again.

Took my pet Caddie in right away. Fixed her up and sent her home with correct meds. Very nice and gentle with my old girl!

Excellent care for my Newfoundland! The tests were excellent and recommended some very good treatments for eyes! I would highly recommend Blue Pearl and their excellent veterinarian Dr. Megan Cullen!

Everyone we encountered was wonderful. Kind, considerate and knowledgeable. Our dog, who is always very nervous away from home, was so calm she almost fell asleep!

My girlfriend took her first pet in today because of this wound. She wanted to do it by herself because she trusted a vet/hospital would care about her cat.
$438.54 later, her cat got wound clipped and cleaned. $78. Antibiotic shot, $119.13 and a collar for $41.75.
Add on the $190.00 consolation/emergency fee.
If they really cared about the pet and owners, they would look at the wound and advise differently.
Not to mention they wanted to send out a culture for another $300+.
I understand businesses have to make money. Just don’t take advantage of people who care about their animals. Worst of all, don’t prey on vulnerable owners because they care.

The Vet assistant Kelly was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to establish a rapport with my dog to assure the least invasive procedure so he could be seen due to him being very scared and skiddish amongst new people and a new environment. Also there was miscommunication regarding my appointment and they still were able to accommodate me. Lastly, both vets I seen, due to I initially came on a friday and had to return the following week for the specialist, were very realistic about what was needed to be done now to take my financial situation in consideration.

Amazing staff and Drs. Extremely caring, understanding and helpful.
My dog had a scary gash on her leg after my vets hours; they were able to clean and dress the wound plus set us up with meds so our baby would make it safely to our own vet the next day.
I will be sharing the news of their outstanding commitment to their patients. ❤️

Everyone at the clinic was so awesome, kind, and caring. They went above and beyond to make sure myself and my pet were cared for. They were swamped when we arrived yet, I felt they were quick and proficient. It’s an extra 20 minute drive for us but, if emergency needs are required again in the future I will definitely bypass others again to go there. Thank you all!

My 12yr old shitzu had a negative reaction to Sentinel heartworm medication and couldn't keep anything down. I went to the Ann Arbor Blue Pearl Because it was a holiday. Doctor Plath was great and so was the staff. It was expensive, but reasonable considering it being a Holiday.
HOWEVER....... The next day, she wasn't doing so well and it was recommended that I take her to the 24hr Blue Pearl Southfield Michigan location. Just to have her spend the night and give her fluids was going to be $5000-$7000!!!! + an additional undetermined amount depending on what was needed. Needless to say, that was the most outrageous thing I had ever heard. The only thing I can say about is, Taking advantage of people like their time of need is horrible and there is a special place in Hell for the people who run this organization! I have been telling everyone I know, I will be posting it on facebook and I have been contacting the vets In my area and letting them know not to refer anyone to these criminals. God bless anyone who doesn't have a choice and gets caught up in this evil business. The only reason I am giving them a one star is because you can't give negative stars.
