Getting a CPAP for the first time was actually intimidating the time first for a few reasons but mainly how to use it and care for the machine and also compliance with your insurance company so you make sure you get what coverage you are entitled too. When I went to Binsons I was lucky enough to have Piper help me through the process. Not only did she spend close to an hour going over every detail the evening I picked up the machine and making sure I was comfortable with it but she was even super helpful after I got the machine home and needed to call in for questions. Customer service is everything, thank you Piper!!!!

The terrible customer service with this company is almost unbelievable. This feels like discrimination against older people and they should be investigated by Medicare. They're raking in the dough and then won't talk to the customers. I have sat on hold for 26 minutes at a time and finally hung up. In the meantime, you are not getting the care that you need. And, to not be open on a weekend? And, to only be open until 6? This is inexcusable. They should be investigated for Medicare fraud. I finally got the time to go there in person and Piper in the Ann Arbor store helped me enthusiastically and professionally. Without service people like Piper, this company would be a total waste. If someone wants to start a class action suit, please email me and I will join.

The medical equipment provided is perfectly fine, though in-person instructions are inadequate. Most maddening is the broken communications syste for this company. One has to wade through an extended list of options, then wait endlessly on hold, all too common these days. BUT: what kind of calling system DROPS THE CALL when one is finally speaking with a representative? And why aren't representatives trained to call back when such an interruption occurs?

They texted me on a Saturday to call and make an appointment to pick out cpap equipment. So I called on Monday (they are closed on Sat) and got voicemail. I left a message. I called again on Tuesday, left a message, nothing. I called again on Wednesday, left a third message. Nothing. So I just ordered my equipment over the internet. They finally called … almost 2 weeks later. Wow, with customer service like that, they have nowhere to go but up.

Binson’s came through for me …. I listened to a friend after my sleep study last fall and had my Script sent to US medical in Livonia … I started calling US medical every month and was told you are still on the list …. After 6 months I ask US . To take me off their list , went back to my Dr who wrote me a new script and suggested Binson’s… Wow! About 3 weeks later ,I was in Ann Arbor picking up my machine …Jeffreye spent quality time explaining all to me and fitting me with mask … he was very kind and informative… I called the next morning with some questions , and talked to Austin who also spent the time on the phone reassuring me and things I could do to adjust myself to the CPap …. What a supportive caring team … I highly recommend these guys !

Horrible customer service. Don't try calling they will leave you on hold for a long time. Business Definitely need some restructure. On hold right now as I type this 15min in. You responded to this review faster than it took you to answer your phone.

I wish I could give a negative 100, they have frustrated me for the last time. I waited 2 months before posting this review because I didn't want to give an emotional review. But I have been with them for 5 years for my cpap supplies and each year the customer service has gotten worse. Every anniversary I get new cpap equipment and it always took a couple calls but this fall it took 13 calls and two months to get my my equipment. When I call they would transfer me to the wrong department, no one would answer and eventually they would hang up on me or 8 times they said they didn't have my prescription which was sent 11 months ago or they needed my doctor's approval for a nasual mask or regular tubing. I would call the doctors office and they call Binsons directly while I waited on the other line. After it was suppose to be taken care of and I didn't receive my equipment I would call Binsons but they wouldn't check. They just tell that they don't have it. Tamara from Warren should be fired because I knew they had my doctors prescription and I had to threaten to talk to hear supervisor if she didn't check. She finally did and found out that they did have the prescription from my doctor. They are either idiots or just like hurting people. I have left them and recommend that no one ever deal with this horrible company. I hope they go out of business.

I wanted to get some supplies from Binson’s, so I went to their Ann Arbor location. I spoke with Mystye who took excellent care of me. She was both courteous, and knowledgeable about what I was looking for. She made some recommendations from her own expertise that I appreciated.After leaving, I realized I wanted to get something else. I decided to call and got in touch with their call center. I was put on hold twice and treated very poorly. I got the impression I was unimportant and even a bother to the representative. She told me I had to wait a week or so for someone to call me back. I explained that they had already left a msg, so I was calling them back. She eventually transferred me to the Ann Arbor store where I got, you guessed it, Mystye. She was very apologetic and handled my order very efficiently. 5 stars for Misty, 1 star for call center.

Non-existent staff. Auto call, if it happens is 1 to 5 minutes after hours so pointless. Binsons expects patients to call for their C-PAP supplies when they are due for replacement. What patient knows their insurance replacement allowances and schedules? Not to mention has a means to track ordering intervals for each component that distinct schedules for each component. Now Binson's is saying no more auto calls. Previously went 15 years without any interaction from supplier. Supplies just arrived regularly. Since pandemic Binsons wants to operate without human staff. I have only received about 33% of the supplies that my insurance entitles in the last 2 years. Dr sent supplies script mid-December. Now Jan 22 and still waiting for complete delivery. Charged insurance for 2 cushions and only sent one. Not sure why a medical supply company would try so hard to not provide supplies. It doesn't seem like a sound business logic. I have spoken to several others who have Binsons supplying their CPAP supplies. Every one of them had the same complaints and zero-star rating of Binsons. They are advertising this as Supply Re-ordering Simplified. For whom? Binsons. I can only guess that if a patient orders a supply before the allowed insurance schedule, that they will be billed hundreds of dollars that is non-refundable. Binsons elects not to respond to reviews. No justifiable excuses I presume. I would highly recommend seeking out a medical supplier other than Binsons. Should anybody know of a better alternative CPAP supplier please post in your review.

Excellent experience! Instructions on using my new CPAP machine were clear and my questions were patiently answered. Therapy has gone well and if there ever was a problem, I could immediately turn to Binsons for help.

Called the Ann Arbor store only to be placed on hold for nearly 8 minutes and then to be told they don’t carry universal walking boots at that location. Very frustrating!

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and had to begin the process of being fitted with the CPAP machine. My husband has had a machine for many years. He got his most recent machine at Binson's and was very pleased with the service.I was very anxious and nervous and didn't think I could ever wear a mask while trying to sleep. I was able to ask many questions and the person who helped fit the mask and set up the machine was helpful and took his time with me. I just could not get used to the mask. It kept making noises and releasing air which drove me crazy, and it certainly didn't improve my sleep.I went back to the store the next week. I met with Charlene and she recommended another mask specifically for side sleepers. It worked much better. She was so helpful, patient, and kind.I have very sensitive skin and I would wake up every morning with big red marks all over my face. At times it was so bad that I looked like I had measles. My husband's mask has a foam covering over the mask so I thought this might help the red marks. I went in again, told them my problem and was fitted with a new mask. The person who helped me was very patient. However, this mask was not near as comfortable or workable as the second mask. So I talked to Mystye on the phone who was very understanding and because it was time for my insurance to cover a new mask she sent me a new one in the mail.I told Mystye that I felt so embarrassed that I had been given so many masks before I finally found one that works, but she was so kind and assured me that many people have to try different masks before they find one that works.I still would prefer not wear a mask. But I know I must for my own health and well being. Knowing that I can go to Binson's for assistance is very reassuring.
