I have purchased many items from best buy and have had nothin but good things to say until..... This weekend we visited the Ann Arbor store with a return of a Samsung Freestyle Projector which I purchased in August of 2023, with this purchase we have also purchased the 200.00 a year additional warrantee on all purchases. I was so disappointed at the way we were treated during our visit buy a person in the Geek Squad named Tony. Unfortunately it was 10:00am and we were told the only appointment available was at 3:00 PM which we live an hour away so this was not feasible. We asked Tony since no one was at the service area could we be seen so we did not have to come back 5 hours later or return another day...which she replied NO. We asked how long could the paperwork take for our item to be left which she replied 10min. We again asked since no one is here can we just complete our paperwork again she replied no, we would have to make an appointment. Another person came over telling us to leave the store and make an appointment there wasn't anyone that could help us. We left this store and went to Toledo Best buy where they couldn't have been nicer, I was there a total of 8 minutes and without an appointment. The guy was so nice and my replacement item will be delivered to my home tomorrow. That's it, 8 minutes. Sorry Ann Arbor you are not so Uptown that you can treat people anyway you choose. I will continue to get great service in Toledo.

So disappointed with Best Buy's app and in store support. I bought an unlocked iPhone through the app. The iPhone was "locked". I took it in to this store and was told that the wrong iPhone was shipped. Then I was told that the correct phone was shipped but just erroneously listed as unlocked. I tried to purchase another one online while at the store. The guy helping me ultimately couldn't help me buy one and told me to try another store. Best Buy used to have good if not great service. If you can't buy an unlocked iPhone there, then what can you buy? What a waste of time and energy. I'm deleting the app and will be going to Target, Walmart or Amazon for future purchases.

Easily the worst Best Buy service I have ever experienced. Usually when you go to a Best Buy it is hard to get away from the employees asking you if you need help lol this trip I was missing that I went in for one AirTag and it took me about 10 minutes just to find someone to open the case. Sure makes me appreciate those other besties that stay on top of customer service.

I love the Best Buy Total Tech program. I have ordered all electronic items from them. From gaming systems to stoves. They have installed 2 TV's for me. They have assisted with installation of a smart door lock. They installed a cook top. Each time I interact with them they are consistent with their services. Each employee has been professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Best Buy and the Total Tech program.

Can't give any higher bc I waited and waited, then went to front and ask for help to wait again. As I was leaving some confrontational employee wanted to argue with me for leaving. Hmmm. Store was clean parking was good.

This place is really nice for new as well as openbox items. I haven't bought anything yet but planning to buy 65" TV from here as they have great offers. I found the staff also very friendly.

While the employees were friendly and able to help during the process I would like to draw attention to Geek Squad Protection. The protection plan does not protect Chromebooks, at most it has to be sent back to the company since Geek squad does not deal with them. My personal experience has me purchasing a new one or in this case a "Refurbished: Excellent Condition" in order to save a few bucks, the refurbished Chromebook unfortunately ran slower then my 1 1/2 old Chromebook. I had to return it and purchase a brand new computer unfortunately (money I was not expecting to have to spend since I had geek squad protection which promised a repair or replacement). The brand new computer that was in stock but I had to return the following day during a snowstorm to pick it up because it couldn't be found the night before.So please be wary of the protection plan. If Best Buy no longer carries your item or if you buy it with a Chromebook you're basically on your own and it would be better to just save a few bucks in case you need to purchase a new product.

Went in to purchase a Samsung watch. The prices were $100 more than the Samsung shop. They didn't have any in stock and the rep told me bad luck about price thats just how best buy make a profit.

Once in a while, I get a great deal. I never like the vibe at Best Buy. It reminds me of a 1980s store with aggressive sales people for some reason. I'm sure it is just the building and not the people.

I had a stereo installed in my car and had a great experience. From initial selection and purchase through installation I was given good information about the process. I am pleased with the work and would trust the installers to do my next installation.

Amazing customer service. Close to closing during holiday shopping season it would be understandable if folks here were a little less than cordial, but everybody I interacted with this evening was polite, professional, smiling and conversational. They addressed an issue with an incorrect product having been shipped. They did so quickly and in a friendly manner. Keep up the great work!

Useless company. Customer service is less useful than online vendors. Their physical existence in your neighborhood does not bring any added benefits. You will not get any service unless you have purchased their “protection plan” (and more likely than not, not even then) and you are stuck with having to ask for assistance online from the original vendors for any warranties. They will not stand behind their products. This being the case, one might as well shop online. Would only shop here for quick needs (cables, adaptors, cleaning supplies etc) and even those will be overpriced. Would not spend money on high end products expecting enhanced customer support.

When buying a new cell phone, Sam at the Ann Arbor store was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very patient with all my questions. Couldn't have asked for any better than him. Seriously, give him a raise!!
