Still a great place to buy local produce and groceries. Prices have become way too high.

I go here probably once a week and I've never been disappointed. The goods carried in the store are top notch and the staff has always been very kind and helpful!

So STINKING cute I got a golden steamer and it was truly delicious and I drink golden lattes frequently and it blew them out of the water. Gotta say that the Ida Red apple was mealy and soft and not like my go to girl Cosmic crisp and that does not reflect on the farm stand, just giving a shout to the apple curious out there

Wonderfully adorable! Highly recommended checking it out! Will say I have found cheaper prices at other similar shops. But I suspect some of that is because of the convenience of there location down town A2Reply: Thank you for explaining more about your mission and how your prices are set.I appreciate that there are places like Argus to promote local farmers. I want to clarify I wasn't upset that things were slightly more. (Bread, eggs, milk and meat) I prefer my money to go to the farmers ( and you)for the better quality. But money is tight for all and didn't want someone who also wants to do their part to support local farms to be discouraged because they need to stretch their dollar.

I think Argus has the best coffee ever, period. I might be biased/spoiled, but I miss it since moving away and always look forward to the next time I’m home so I can stop by the cafe as much as possible! And White Lotus Wednesdays! (If you know you know!)The market model is creative and sustainability-focused, with an incredible variety of fresh produce and local products available year-round (yes, even in wintertime there are beautiful fresh greens!). The proceeds directly support local farmers. Whether you live within walking distance or are just stopping through town, Argus will have everything you need to prepare an amazing breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner at home, grab a wrap or salad on the go or linger over the best coffee ever in their cozy greenhouse workspace. Don’t miss out on the rotating seasonal lattes (great hot or iced). Secret tip, they can even make these for you at any time of year if you know what to ask for. And they have WiFi!

I support the local farm and sustainability concept. However, the owner has had since inception all the exterior lights on 24 hours a day. Sure, lights on at evening and night may be necessary. But during bright daylight hours, all the time, is the complete opposite of the concepts of being sustainable and being good to the environment.I have brought this up with the owner and staff for many years, and multiple times. Owner and staff don't care, even though it only takes the most minimal care or work to remedy this. No reason to simply waste energy daily. I would shop here much more often if they cared about our planet more and stopped unnecessarily wasting precious energy everyday. Small actions add up when it comes to our planet.

I have loved coming to Argus since they opened and their commitment to both their farmers and customers is above and beyond anywhere I've ever been. Their coffee is also fantastic as it comes from both Hyperion and Roos Roast.
