Ann Arbor Sewing Center is a really grounded place providing the best sewing shop experience. It is a treat for the senses with an extremely positive, warm, and welcoming space. The store is well stocked with an excellent, very impressive, and diverse fabric selection, including quality fabric, 100% wool felt, sewing tools, and buttons. It is a source for everything, from fabric and projects to sewing machines, with assistance for a year and a class included with a purchase. The staff are incredibly nice, very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with any questions. They give clear explanations and really grounded, knowledgeable advice, with enthusiasm that makes every visit fun. The technicians provide incredibly helpful service, figuring out problems, offering quick on-the-spot fixes, prompt service for drop-off repair, and helpful pointers for future troubleshooting. Customers know their machines are in good hands, making it a place to definitely visit, try a class, and return to for all sewing needs.
It is a great place for a wide variety of material. How ever itl lacks access to lower and upper level for wheelchair acces. That is the only reason I rated 4 stars.

Super friendly staff - came in bc my old sewing machine wasn’t working well. Got a quick tune up, some answers to questions, and advice all on the spot and no charge. All around great service!

Highly recommend for anyone looking for sewing machine repair! Rick fixed my machine on the spot, free of charge. As a bonus, they have an amazing selection of quilting fabric and notions!
