My husband and I toured several wedding venues, and within minutes of finishing our final tour, we knew that Ann Arbor City Club was hands down our favorite. During our tour, Greg was helpful, informative, and organized. He shared about the history of the building itself as well everything we wanted to know about what a wedding here would look like. One of the main selling points for us was the AACC has a whole-house backup generator - no matter the weather for our day, we knew we wouldn't be in a panic if power was lost. After hearing some horror stories online of peoples' venues losing power and the day essentially being cancelled, this was a huge benefit to AACC!
Throughout the planning process, Greg was so knowledgeable and prompt with communication. We loved working with him! When he announced his retirement, we were so relieved that the transition to their new coordinator, Lindy, was seamless. Lindy was organized, professional, easy to work with, and was able to pick up right where we left off with Greg. She really cared about making our day special and has excellent attention to detail! Because of the detailed plan, great organization, prompt communication, and expertise of the whole AACC staff, we were 100% relaxed and able to just enjoy the day without worrying about a thing!
The venue is also SO beautiful! It's the perfect mix of outdoors and indoors that we wanted. It has a beautiful garden and pergola, super convenient rooms for the bridal party and groomsmen to get ready in, and a gorgeous ballroom for the reception. There are so many great photo-op spots, like a beautiful bay window in the staircase, that made for some gorgeous pictures. There are also smaller break-out areas around the house with seating that our guests loved if they wanted to take a break from dancing or have a conversation in a quieter space. You can even choose specific colors of uplighting to make the ballroom space exactly what you envision. Our guests keep telling us how much they loved our venue and how delicious the food was! The mini quiche appetizer, bbq meatball appetizer, and maple bourbon salmon entree were some of our favorites.
AACC was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Everyone was kind, helpful, professional, and welcoming, and our day went off without a hitch! We cannot recommend them enough!

We were very happy we chose AACC for our wedding venue and had a beautiful wedding day! There was an issue with the chair vendor (the vendor brought the wrong chairs day of) that they handled smoothly, professionally, and without stressing the bride out, which we really appreciated. They were also flexible regarding the weather and adding in extra accommodations like water and lemonade for our guests because of the extreme heat on our wedding day. We'd definitely recommend this place to other couples!

Ann Arbor City Club is a great wedding venue! I can tell they truely care about the couple's wedding day. Their staff is detail oriented, efficient, and partnered great with my wedding planning team.

Super disappointed. My fiancée and I had an appointment with Ann Arbor City Club to look at their location for our wedding, the events manager didn’t show up to our meeting. Then called 5 hours later with a poor apology but no explanation on why she didn’t show up for our appointment. For a venue that requires a ton of money you’d think they would show up to the appointments that they scheduled.

Can I give more than 5 stars somehow? AACC was the BEST wedding venue - we could not have dreamt up better. We were going for backyard garden party wedding type vibes with a mix of elegance while still delivering some sort of uniqueness... I would say that's AACC to a tee.
We had our wedding during the transition of Lindy taking over for Greg. We were initially a little nervous about the transition, as Greg had worked there for so long managing and coordinating the weddings and events, but Lindy stepped in and showed UP. She was truly amazing. She ran our rehearsal like she could do it in her sleep. She brought so many ideas and thought of so many things that we otherwise wouldn't have. She REALLY cared about us and our wedding, even after having just met us. She seemed genuinely excited to be a part of it and to make it exactly what we wanted it to be. With booking the AACC, we got an AMAZING wedding coordinator with the price of the venue! This took off so much stress for us, as we didn't need to book any extra person to serve as a wedding planner/coordinator.
They are truly such a WELL OILED MACHINE. Everything was on time, every worker was professional, people raved about the food... The organization from start to finish was so seamless. As a bride, I felt like I could be so carefree and just focus on the beauty of our day rather than any of the details, because they were all taken care of for us.
The venue itself is gorgeous and offers a little bit of everything. A very nice ballroom that is simple enough so that you can make it your own... (I didn't like the venues with crazy carpet or art on the walls). But they have all of the special lighting, the nice wood dance floor, and plenty of windows (I had also been in venues without windows, and it makes you feel super closed in so we loved this!!!). We of course loved the outside garden area and pergola which offered plenty of shade on a hot day. They have a lot of beautiful landscaping and flowering plants. Our guests loved getting to wander through the various rooms and discover some of the history of the place. This was great for older guests, kids, etc. to be able to get a break when needed as there was plenty of private space in the rooms. Our dog was in the ceremony and they were sure to take care of her with water bowls, etc.
I could go on and on and on about how great of a decision AACC was for our wedding venue... but I will stop the rambling here :) and just say BOOK THEM and you will be making one of the best decisions. Thank you AACC and staff!!!

Went to niece's wedding. First time there. Nice venue. Outside drinks and appetizers on the patio was nice. Meal was good.
