Yesterday, I went thru the self-service car wash and noticed the red light (last coin alert) would go on after approximately 30 seconds from when I put several quarters in to buy me time. *Several quarters should buy you more than 30 seconds* I have been to my fair share of car washes. This continued for about 3-4 more times and I quit. Needless to say I only rinsed my vehicle. I was not able to actually wash my car. This has happened to me twice. Every other car wash I have been to shows you a timer and the red light (last coin alert) actually makes a sound, alerting you time is running out. This car wash needs to update their self-service or someone else is going to come into town with more up-to-date technology and put Almont Auto Wash Inc. out of business unfortunately.
Update: happy they updated the self service however recently I have begun to get scratches on my vehicle after car washes. I have never seen so many scratches on the side of my vehicle and on my hood. I never have them use the handheld brush so something with their automatic car wash needs fixing!!!
