We moved in May of 2023 and the office has been harassing us by making FAKE violations since. Trish unlocked & came into our apartment while we were sleeping illegally & unannounced after 3 months of living here. The apartments themselves are ran down & not very well fixed up. Our carpet was not fully laid down, door knobs are broken, closets & rooms are crooked, AC doesn’t work, outlets don’t work, rusty nails were left sticking up out of the ground, blinds are old & broken or prone to breaking, when they repair damages they do not properly take care of the problem. Horrible job. These people are snobby, rude & prejudice. They’ll tell you one thing & do another. Make sure to have your lease on hand!! Would not recommend this place to anyone esp if you have kids.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. They will tell you one thing and do another. Make sure you keep your lease on hand because its definitely saved me a couple times. It's like management just makes up rules as time goes on and tries to screw you out of money. Let's not forget the fact that when something is broken you have to wait a month or longer to get it fixed. Nothing but car vandalisms and break ins and a bunch of drug addicts. If I could date this place 0 I would.

Poor customer service. Sherri (whom answered the phone started off kinda bothered by my call) was RUDE and ended up not being able to provide me with any information... and suggested to get it I would need to fill out an application (assuming there’s a fee involved with that). Needless to say, I hung up!

I currently live at the Shepley Apartments in St. louis ran by the same people. I am a disabled vet, let me start of by saying don't get on the bad side of the people that run this place. They will do anything to give you a lease violation and kick you out. I see that the manager or owner has responded to posts on here, I'm sure in fear of bad reviews and publicity but I have called since Monday to get an eviction notice taken care of. no response what so ever. It is now Friday. This eviction is literally over 2 dollars they said I was short on for this month of March after the had given me a warning in FEB that I would be kicked out if any more lease violations occurred. All my rent had been paid on time, but according to them the mail has taken more time lately and its not there fault the mail is late and that it is my fault and was given lease violations. well hmm I don't work for the mail either. All lease violations were petty just like the other person was saying in reviews for example got one for dirty stove burners...but hey they can have people creepin through windows of my apartment at my gf and the maintenance guy comes whenever he wants even after I signed papers from this business that says they cant come in unless I'm there. Mind you in the same week I signed, they tried coming in twice without my consent after i signed it. June will be 2 years since I lived here now I have no place to go over 2 dollars. Don't live here, whatever you do choose some where else to live especially if you don't want to deal with a corrupt establishment such as this.

One, they do not fix the things they should. They will say they did or will but it doesn't happen. Two, do not expect your refund back. They will Nickle and dime you for every last penny. Even got charged for things that I know of for a fact were not broken when we left. I could go on and on . Do not live here if you have other options.

To actually give this apartment one star is too much I just today had prescription medication stolen out of my apartment and my door left open by maintenance. I have had more than one problem with the management and the tenants who reside here are mostly of the unsavory type. I was appauled to learn that there has been two heroin overdoses in the last six months alone. If you have kids I would not recommend these apartments at all.

It's pretty ridiculous when people who really need help with a cheaper apartment due to their low income can't get in to low income apartments. Tried three different times and with cosigners to get approved at this place and all they did was waste our time and money. You will have to pay each time you get your credit ran so if you don't get approved the first time then don't bother, because they will keep lying to you and telling you that you can still get approved so you keep paying for credit checks. Someone should really educate these people on how its hard to have stellar credit when you have a poverty level income. FYI my credit was good enough to get approved for a car loan through a local credit union 2 weeks ago, not at a buy here pay here place either, so its pretty sad I can get approved for a car loan but not an apartment.

We have received illegal and immoral lease violations since the day we moved in. We got violated for our kids playing in the daytime, a tv antenna, and telling the maintenance man to "Not talk to my wife again" because he sexually harassed her. My oldest daughter has tourette's and they discriminated against her regardless. I was charged illegally for normal wear and tear, and received lease violations even after I had Rep. Dave Camp investigate the situation and find that I owed nothing for the repairs. They are liars and thieves who live off bullying low income or handicapped residents.
