So far the transition from rite aide to Meijer has been pretty smooth. I want to thank you all for that. ? Now I have to critique! If a person’s primary doesn’t accept a script, run it through the secondary if available. This should automatically be done. If not learn to do it. Learn the difference between the two M’s. Medicaid and Medicare. I understand not everyone has a secondary. Look. It’s not that difficult.

Meijer has handled the influx from the former Rite-Aid and Walgreens very well. With three registers open, the line goes very smoothly.

Went to pick up meds the day after I called them in. Informed me they wouldn't be ready for two days. They are transplant meds and AFib medicine. They have to be taken twice daily. Don't you have any medicine on your shelves. We don't live right next door. Also I found this out after waiting in drive thru for a half hour because inside pharmacy was packed.

Waited in drive thru for 25 minutes, only to be told that the prescription I had been texted (by Meijer) would be ready after 2:00 was on backorder. Why the text if not ready???? Not the first time this has happened! So frustrating!

For medications they are terrific! Efficient great pricing (relative to other Rx) accurate. HOWEVER: Two years in a row I got my flu shots and my Covid boosters. MOST PAINFUL INJECTIONS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! They were consistently hurtful in the extreme. The Pharmacists gave them to me, not any techs. They displayed no recognizable technique. They just pushed it in my arm and down with the plunger. It was shameful, and Meijers should be apologizing.

Long waits and rude employees. I leave with a feeling of frustration and vexation every time. Try one of the other eight pharmacies within a five minute drive.
