This place is interesting!!! They are super nice originally to get your business. Then when you pay, things take a different turn! Something was wrong with a piece of furniture I received. They told me I was welcome to return it (such an inconvenience). Never offered to fix it or repair it. Frank and his wife were rude about the whole thing. I and several of my family planned to buy a lot more furniture there, but not after that experience. They lost any future business from us. Customer Service is a must! Thought this place provided it but was wrong after our purchase went thru.

Cheryl was fantastic to work with. She helped me pick our a cost effective sofa, customize the look as well as helped me select fabric for the cushions and a coordinating options for my pillows! Highly recommend!!

I had a zipper break on my sectional cushion and Jill ordered me a new cushion jacket. The gentleman that delivered it was super pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Metropolitan Furniture to anyone I know.

I shopped at four stores before going to Metropolitan. It was recommended to me by two people and "saved" it for last. The store was fully accessorized and had a giant selection . Cheryl provided exceptional free design service and the price turned out to be the lowest. Now I know why they have been in business for over 100 years. Great experience.

We shopped around and thought this was a great place at first , we were approved for financing then we shopped for a nice bed in our range, i then put down the deposit and was happy, then after 5 weeks we get a call back that the credit card on file didn't go through because it was a Wells Fargo bank, well first off if we were a approved and the card went through the first time what happened, second when they called to tell us they don't except wells Fargo card as a reliable bank( none of my cards are linked to a wells fargo bank) never once said we were denied or anything and just said we needed to bring a different card, then after 12 weeks finally got a call it was ready and we get up there and are told we are to pay up front, told us the financing paperwork was shredded because they dont like to keep tha stuff around(if someone is ordering furniture and you place the order and everything and its now at your place of business why would you shred it)? So we left there and went to a better furniture place, was approved by one of their multiple lenders(metropolitan has one) and our bed we ordered 10/31 will be here 11/3 full set, so i would steer clear from them because it seems all they want is money, pretty sure when i first went there the male owner tried to sell me his used head board for 300 and told me i could find a mattress somehwhere else, just sad, no need to reply owner, your words won't affect me, as I seen with the other 1 star you try to banter the people for giving their opinion horrible business

I was originally satisfied with my purchase, especially after they had to replace my couch. I purchased cash for a flex steel, sectional, ottoman and chair. What sold me was the warranty offered on the furniture? I just recently discovered that the side paneling of my chair is made of cardboard. I contacted flex steel and they wanted $175 to fix it. The warranty upon purchase wasn’t explain to me the way that Flexsteel it’s self explained it to me, just take your time shopping. Don’t let the politeness and smiles, fool you because three years later you’ll most likely wind out with cardboard

Was trying to buy furniture but when I asked for a final price they would not provide it. They knew we were shopping around and they did not want us comparing prices with other stores. They would only give us the price once we signed the contract.Who the heck who is going to buy something if they don’t know the price? Suggest buying from a company that is up front and honest through the entire purchase.

I went on Amazon went to Mclaughlin and many places to fing a swivel glider chair not with heavy cushion to it they were the ONLY place that I found one Amish wants 26 weeks the metropolitan only 8 to 10 weeks to delivery I am thrilled

Purchased several dinning room chairs from them almost 5 months ago. Shipment took longer than they expected. Upon arrival of chairs, one chair was broken. They took it back and said that they would send it back to the manufacture. It has been months since the chair was sent back and haven't received the new yet. My wife has called then several times and have gotten the run around on the status of the chair, or they would have to call about it and get back to us. They never call back. I will no longer give them my business nor will I recommend them to my family or friends.

Look ANYWHERE else for your furniture! Owner is old, rude, and needs to retire! Quality is what it is elsewhere, so buy it somewhere else and do yourself a favor. Last set I bought fell apart in less than a year and they didn't want to hear about it. Apparently, once they get your money here, they don't care about a darn other thing. How unfortunate!
