While my experience while filing taxes was fine it was after there was an error that things went downhill. When I called to inform H&R Block of the error that they made when filing my city taxes because I’m a work from home employee with an office in Detroit they told me to fix it myself. The women on the phone told me that I didn’t provide the correct information and what she said I hadn’t provided I did provide. I told her I was sitting with that information currently and provided it day of filing as well but in speaking with the city the form was done incorrectly. She told me that it was still my fault and would need to be fixed on my end. Needless to say I’m extremely dissatisfied as I’ve filed my own taxes for free for years and never had an issue. The one time I choose to work with an “expert” my taxes were filed incorrectly and then the blame placed on me. So much for the H&R Block guarantee.

Great tax agent (Jeff) - Very quick, helpful, friendly, and informative. Tried to do a walk-in but they said they would have to schedule an appointment. They were able to take my paperwork and Jeff completed my refund when he had an opening.
