I had an appointment at 11am & yes, I was running a little late. Which is completely my fault & I take full accountability for that. My daughter is a nursing student at Wayne State & uses my vehicle on the days she has classes so I had to rely on alternate transportation & it's out of your control sometimes when relying on someone else to drive you. Anthony's called me at 11:08, (which at that time I was 1 min away) & said they would have to cancel my appointment because the nail technician, Dawn, wouldn't have enough time to complete my pedicure. When I arrived, Dawn did keep my appointment, but she made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her from the beginning for even showing up. I asked to quickly change into more comfortable pants that I could pull up to my knees since I was coming straight from work, which seemed to frustrate Dawn even more. When she took me back to where they perform their manicures & pedicures, she asked for my flip flops (which I was never told to bring my own when initially booking the appointment & since I never had a pedicure done here before, I didn't know I needed to). She then instructed me to put my feet in the water & then just left for 10mins. Didn't ask if the water was a comfortable temperature or even tell me where the massage controller for the chair was on the right side of the chair, her co-worker was kind enough to inform me. During our session, she didn't ask me any questions about how I liked my toes, if I had any problem areas or any of the typical questions when receiving a pedicure. In fact, our conversation was very minimal, if any at all. She paid more interest & devoted more attention to her co-worker & their client than me. I've never been to a full-service salon before & have only gone to the boutique's that specialize in nail services. So maybe my expectations were too high, but she didn't massage my feet or legs, didn't wrap hot towels around them or make ANY kind of effort to go out of her way to make it an enjoyable experience. The entire time, she had a bad attitude, was very cold, showed very little emotion or personality. I've had way better experiences with the hair stylist's at Anthony's, but I definitely won't be going back for any kind of nail services.

So so impressed and happy with our experiences here so far! Diane took such good care of our toddler's first haircut and gave us exactly what we wanted. Annette ROCKED my hair in the best way too. We will come back again and again.

Hair cut was absolutely nothing like the provided picture. Only asked for a few inches off and was completely chopped off. Hair went from lower back to almost shoulder length. Asked for layers, got none. Asked for bangs. Got none. I realized that I did not want this lady to even attempt it after how short she cut my daughters hair. My daughter cried after getting to the car. She really thought showing her a picture and telling her just a few inches off with face framing layers was easy to handle. I guess not.

During my recent visit to Anthony's Hair Salon, I had the pleasure of getting a root touch-up and a haircut from Diane M. I must say that I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. It was my second visit to the salon with Diane and during the first visit, I had a little trouble with the color being too dark. However, during this visit, I expressed my concerns to Diane, and she took the time to listen and understand my preferences. She did an excellent job of choosing a shade that was a little lighter, which I just loved! Apart from the color, Diane also gave me a haircut that was exactly what I had in mind. She took about 2 inches off my hair and added long layers that gave my hair the perfect amount of volume and texture. I appreciate the fact that she took the time to listen to my requests and delivered exactly what I wanted. Moreover, she was able to finish my hair quickly, without compromising on the quality of the work. The salon itself is clean, vibrant, and has a peaceful ambiance, which I prefer. The staff is friendly, and Diane's expertise and professionalism make the salon stand out. I am more than happy with the services I received at Anthony's Hair Salon and will definitely be returning for my future hair needs.

I will not be going back to this salon. My regular stylist canceled on me last minute and I had very important event to attend so I ended up going here. I asked to update my blonde highlights that blend into my hair and a money piece in front. My hair just needed a touch up because my roots have grown out. First, the bleach they used burned my scalp. Second, my hair does not blend at all. Some pieces are lighter than others and are literally white. They also did not style my hair after washing it, they just left it wet. So I wasn’t able to see the final product. The color just didn’t match my natural hair at all. I did tip the lady well because I understand that’s how they make their money.

My daughter and I had walked in not really expecting to have our cuts done since it's such a busy salon but thankfully Anthony took us and did just as we asked and on his lunch break of all times.. nice facility, welcoming and we plan on going back for future needs.Services: Kids' cuts
