Chris at Advantage has been the best so far, very good engineer and has the gift to diagnose. Could have charged me hundreds for an electrical problem as quoted by another shop, turned out to be an obscure fuse....NO CHARGE. This is an honest and qualified mechanic.”

“I can’t tell you how great this place is! Due to my poor decision, I have an interlock device installed in my car. I needed to get some things fixed on it and nobody in town would work on it unless I got it disconnected which is a daunting process. I spoke to Cam and he didn’t hesitate to offer help to me. They knew how to operate the interlock and it was no problem. Furthermore, they text you a list of everything needing to be fixed and he reviewed it with me over the phone. He told me what I needed and what could. I am always nervous that I’m being misled at mechanics but he is honest. The work was done same day and I was back on the road. Bonus is that his sweet doggie lets you live on her while you are there! I’d give ten stars if I could! Thank you CAM and your team.”
“We went in initially with a code for our cam shafts. Festerling’s was the quickest in town to get us in to have the car looked at. They were able to get to our car quickly even though we weren’t able to get the car in first thing in the morning. They cleaned the sensors but said they were in good condition so didn’t think they needed replaced which saved us money. Although this didn’t fix the issue with the car, they had us bring the car straight back in and got right back to work on it. Their next recommendation was to clean or replace the VVT sensors. They recommended we install the parts ourselves if we could since it was a simple install and would save us even further on cost. By this time they were getting close to closing time. They called around town to find which parts store would have the part we needed, waited with us for it to be driven by an employee from the parts store across town, then one of the gentlemen left his personal vehicle at the shop to follow us home an hour after closing time in the tow truck without any further cost to make sure we made it home safely. They went entirely out of their way to make sure we were properly taken care of. We cannot recommend this shop enough. They will continue to have our business with any of our vehicles from here on out. We greatly appreciate their kindness and diligence to see us taken care of.”
“I was travelling from Holland and my Sprinter van malfunctioned. I was referred to Brakes by the Bay and they got me in immediately. Mike read the codes and reset them. He took it for a test drive with me and everything was copacetic. He explained to me how to purchase and use a code reader so I could perform this myself in the future. Less than a half hour and I was out of there. An excellent example of superior (and human) service. Thank you very much.”
