Our sweet 6 yr old German shepherd Benny boy died August 29th 2023 on his way to the emergency vet due to steroid medication this Kelly veterinarian clinic in Adrian gave him for his perianal fistula. Benny has had this disease for years and have put him on this steroid in the past but soon learned it was wreaking havoc on his liver. He lost weight, hair, getting sick and was not himself. So we quickly got him off that. This new staff put him on this steroid again disregarding my ex's concern and argument that it caused him to be sick in the past. They told him there was nothing to worry about that it would be fine because the frequency and timeline would be shorter. It wasn't fine. He started to lose weight and hair again so he stopped giving it to him, leading up to his vet appointment but it was too late. Our baby died because of this vets incompetence. Please choose a different vet office, I don't want this to happen to anybody else's baby.

took my pet in for a shot for hives and the shot did nothing. im thinking it was just saline. now they refuse to treat my pet unless i pay again for a vet visit. i believe they are under treating animals to up their profit margin. stay away!

When I had to take my dog in for a spontaneous pneumorthorax, the staff did everything they could to treat her and gave me a wide range of options. Ultimately, we had to put our sweet girl to sleep, and the staff was so amazingly kind and compassionate. On one of the saddest days, they did everything they could to make us comfortable and were so tender in their care of our Piper. A few weeks later, I recieved a sympathy card signed by the staff. They truly care about their patients and go above and beyond in their care.
